You cannot go wrong at this restaurant. They have sandwiches, salads, comfort foods, desserts. You can find something here that you will like especially if you enjoy greek cuisine. That isn't the only thing they serve, they have a variety of meals.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated promptly. The staff all were wearing masks and keeping tables socially distanced. As people left, they cleaned thoroughly. Our table of 4 each ordered different meals and we got an appetizer. Everything came out in a...reasonable time, and the food was really delicious. You could tell it was all fresh and made to order, and the portions were generous. Our server was really nice and attentive. We each took a dessert to go. The dessert portions were also large, and they were absolutely scrumptious! Some places give you a skimpy dessert portion, but not here. Definitely get a dessert to take home! Yum! We will definitely be coming back!More

I have come here on more then one occasion for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it's all so good. My parents come here during the summer when they ride the motorcycle almost everyweek and sometimes they meet friends here. I used to work down the...street and would come here for lunch a couple times a week and meet my husband for lunch. You honestly won't find a better hidden gem then this place. The ONLY problem is they can get so busy the dining area can seem cramped, but they has never stopped me from coming. I'm Greek and for anyone that's wondering the food is authentic.More

Sunshine Grille is maintaining its usual daily specials in the carryout format during these lockdown days. Today there was 20% off Greek items and 50% off cake. The staff efficiently took my order over the phone, and everything was ready at the appointed time. The...Grilled Octopus appetizer was perfect in a wine vinegar and caper dressing. The serving was large and the pieces of octopus were both firm and tender and served over mesclun greens with tomato, cucumber and feta. The serving of Moussaka was huge, enough for two meals. Each tasty layer was distinct starting with the fried potato slices, then the stewed ground lamb, roasted eggplant and topped with at least a half inch of béchamel sauce. It was served with Greek salad. The serving of Chocolate cake was also big enough to enjoy on two occasions. Just to be on the safe side and not need to go outside again tomorrow, I got a generous portion of spinach pie. The prices were reasonable to begin with, and even better with today's special discounts. The management is putting this quarantine time to good use by doing some renovations. I trust that customers realize that we have fresh, good quality food choices at fair prices still accessible in the community.More

Sunshine Grille has a homey, casual ambiance. We arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon for some coffee and pie. At that hour getting seated was no problem but it might get busy at regular meal times. We just had coffee and desserts. There was an...impressive choice of pies, with enormous slices. The kadaifi (the restaurant features some Greek cuisine choices) and the key line cheesecake were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly.More

The portion sizes are just huge! It would take 2 people to eat one meal! I absolutely love the food and could eat it all day everyday. However, it became very crowded in a matter of minutes. I wish there were more seating. I have...heard that they are opening up the building, so it should be better soon.More

Monday, May 27, 2019, Memorial Day Holiday. This was my 3rd visit to Sunshine Grille. The restaurant was busy & was just starting to fill up. We arrived around 11:45. I had called a week before to ask if they took reservations, which the person...answering the phone said they did. However, we arrived a little early & there were plenty of open tables but the waitress stated they did not take reservations. I’ll chalk that up to whoever answered the phone being new & unaware. It all worked out fine. We got a table on the outer area but still closed in with windows that were on the parking lot side. The windows are higher than the table which let in the sunlight & allowed us to see without having to look directly at the parking lot. We ordered Mushrooms Imperial & Saganaki (Flaming Cheese) as our appetizers. We had time to look at the menu & all of us ordered from the Chefs Specials. Our waitress was busy, yet attentive & friendly. She seemed to be responsible for a lot of tables. Appetizers arrived fairly quickly. The mushrooms were carefully placed on our table as our waitress explained she would be lighting the cheese before she served it. The cheese flamed & when it went out our waitress placed it on our table with the warning that the dish was hot. There were toast points to eat with the cheese. We cut small pieces off of the cheese & put on the toast points & ate. This cheese dish, Saganaki, was delicious! I’ve made my own fried cheese in a frying pan & had no idea a restaurant would serve a similar dish! We all very much enjoyed this! I’ve rarely had a stuffed mushroom I didn’t enjoy & the Mushroom Imperial did not disappoint either. The mushrooms were cooked properly & the crab stuffing was tasty too! My companions & I all ordered different items as our entrees. One of my companions had the St. Croix Burger which my companion said seemed over seasoned. This companion stated that they really wanted to taste the grilled pineapple & the chipotle sauce that was served on the burger with the burger. However, the seasoning in the burger overpowered everything & they were unable to taste & enjoy what was served on the burger which was the reason to order this burger. The fries & cole slaw served with the burger were good. I had the Seared Scallops which were also on the Chef Special menu. The scallops were plated beautifully. The asparagus was cooked with just a minimal sear as were the scallops. Scallops I have eaten in the past are flaky like most fish or crab meat is when you cut it with a fork. These scallops were gooey on the inside & not like I am used to. The risotto was pasty & although I tasted it, I did not eat it. My food tasted ok, I think just not prepared well or maybe a new chef. The third diner in our group ordered the Teriyaki Salmon over riced cauliflower with avocado. This diner was delighted with this choice especially because it was on their keto diet. The food leftover, due to them being full, was packed up & taken home! Lastly, we ordered a slice of cake to share. The slice was humongous! Plenty for the 3 of us to share! I believe it was chocolate covered pretzel cake. The cake was a bit dry & the pretzels soft inside the cake. My companion did take what was left home with them. Seems the slice was mostly dry on the exposed side. Lastly, one of us did spill our water due to reaching across the table & catching their arm on the straw. Luckily, it missed our clothes & our food & stayed on the table & fell to the floor. It’s just a “force of habit” to open your straw & put it in your drink even when you don’t need it. I noticed another table also spilled a drink in the same manner. I’d like to suggest Sunshine Grille stop serving plastic straws. I do believe they are unnecessary. The glasses are big enough & heavy enough to hold a full drink & easy to slide to reach ones mouth to drink. To help the environment, we are all trying to discourage the use of plastic straws that litter our planet & harm our wildlife. We love Sunshine Grille & will be back again to try other menu items. I am pleased with the service & the variety of food offered. I just think the day we were there was an off day. Maybe due to a holiday weekend or maybe due to a new chef. I am positive my experience will be better next time.More

The Sunshine Grille is one of our favorite breakfast spots in the greater Baltimore area. Brand new breakfast menu items added Mother’s Day 2019. Consistently good pancakes, eggs, breakfast meats, etc. One of us tried the new Eastern Shore Omelette — fried crab cake and...shrimp as filling. Our only complaint was there was no Old Bay in it. Asked for some and got a shaker full to use as wanted which was fine, but the omelette could have been superb if it was made with it. They have crazy cakes and pies as well — tasty and fun!More
