Your Family Dining Dollar Well Spent

Friendly and knowledgable wait staff. Tina the bartender makes a good drink. Family priced wine by bottle or glass. Delicious Pizza. Many offerings of pizza. Our favorite was the Margarita. Entree orders could be a little more demonstrative ; adequate portion ; but nothing exciting. Kid... read more

Coal Fire Consistently serves great fresh pizza by a team of attentive servers. The restaurant is consistently clean, with reasonable prices. Highly recommend their caprese, Cajun sandwich, brisket sandwich and classic pizza. Wings are oddly good here too.

To my opinion, the best pizza you can find around Columbia / Ellicott City ! And the kids love watching the pizzaiolo toss the dough and prepare your pizza. A delicious thin crust with the toppings of your choice. I always go for typical italian toppings : proscuitto, mushrooms and black olives is a hit Regina ! Anchovies and capers... More

I had the cheddar steak and cheese with fries. They were delicious. The bread tasted really fresh and the steak was top round and amazing... not what you typically find on a steak and cheese. The service was quick and everyone was really nice.

My husband and I became fans of coal fire pizza during a trip to Florida, so we were excited that Coal Fire Pizza was close to our residence. We had no wait time for a table. Service was very good - the staff seem to work very well together. We were a bit disappointed with the pizza. The regular sauce... More

I've been here about four times over the past year and the pizza has always been great, with multiple sauces to choose from that are always delicious. The wings are normally really good but they were a little dry and plain this last visit. The salads are good and the one with bacon and shrimp we had last time was... More

The food is always good here and there is a great selection of beer. Try the grilled Caesar salad because it is delicious!

I'd been hoping to try the pizza at this place but, today I only wanted a sub to go. Coalby's are what they call a sub and I wanted a steak and cheese. I asked if I could get the "Cheddar Cheese Steak" $8.95 wo/ mushrooms and peppers. Guess I should have just gotten the "Ribeye" $11.95. I would have... More

We had dinner at Coal Fire on 5/3 in the evening. We should have left when I saw how dirty the floor was in the entrance, it appeared as if no one had cleaned it in days. Our meal was not bad, the pizza crust was wonderful and service was pretty good. I couldn't get over how dirty everything was,... More

Stopped in for a sandwich and wings. Ordered the prime rib coalby which was very good. Moist and tender, I would suggest this if your not wanting pizza. The wings were sort of a let down as they did not live up to my expectation of what I had had at other Coal Pizza places. They seemed to lack any... More
