I think the best thing here is its a good sports bar if you want to watch TV and they have a very big menu (over 120 food items). It is also good if you want to try NEW food possibly (pig intestines, boar, rabbit,...duck tongue, frog legs,
etc). However, I was not very impressed by the food though. I thought it was more Americanized than real Vietnamese (but a lot of places are now). The spring rolls were not even what I would call OK, but not horrible either. My beef pho was a little tough and small serving size as well compared to most pho places I have been to. I have had their chicken wings before and they are at least decent. So if you want really good food I would not come here but if you simply want some normal/avg food or simply to try different things...then give it a try. They also have a load of Bubble teas as well.More
We've heard that the food was really good and it was a great place to go to dinner. Not so. It's a glorified sports bar. There are LOTS of tvs around the restaurant. Music was blaring in the background. Our waitress, though very nice, didn't...know the menu. My wife got two appetizers for dinner. They were ok--the calamari was tough however. I had a seafood stir fry which was ok--sauce was light and tasty. But the noise and lower level ambiance left us cold.More
I love their Pho! The broth is rich and soothing. The meat is plentiful. However, the quantity of noodles varies. Even though we order the large, sometimes the size of the noodle ball is almost exactly half of what it normally is.
We also get...the fried calamari appetizer and it is fabulous! Crispy and tender. However because we get it every time, we notice that we get less and less squid. This also is down to almost half of what we were served 3 months ago. Maybe new management. In the beginning the $10 price was an appropriate cost but now, it's way over charging for what actually comes out.
We tried their new dim sum menu and we were appalled. All the food was cold. The rice never came. We were under the impression that the dim sum menu was prepared fresh but it definitely was not. The chow foon was so poorly prepared, after taking most of our meal to be brought to us (even though we ordered it as we started out meal) the meat was chopped and cut in the most unprofessional way. No cook, let alone a chef, would cut meat in that way. Thumb size chunks.
The staff are wonderful! Every single one. Some are more experienced and much more cordial but generally all are nice.More
