We stopped in for lunch and the menu had pretty good variety. I got the patty melt with a soda and my girlfriend got the chicken sandwich. Both were really good and the bill was only $21. My patty melts bread was grilled to perfection,...More

Celebrated a birthday and was very surprised by the level of execution. The menu is tradional american and Eastern Shore and done very well. The service was on point as well. The Oysters were great!

Three couples for dinner--great rockfish over israeli couscous; also grilled prime rib was popular. One issue was potatoes were ice cold on plate--hadn't been prepped. Taken care of right away but a bit odd to have prechilled potatoes. Great wine choices as well as very...More

Terrific convivial bar with friendly staff and dozens of craft beers. More than bar food, more of a bistro menu. Great burgers and fried oysters but also steaks and fish and mighty fine crab cakes. Dependable chow at reasonable prices.

Popular bar venue in the heart of Easton, MD immediately adjacent to the Avalon Theater. Good food and service although a little slow when crowded. Plenty of parking in the nearby area.

Cute neighborhood bar but food was disappointing for the price. The shepherd’s pie was mostly gravy.

Have been to this downtown( next door to Avalon Theater ) restaurant several times. Mostly well pleased but this time a definite mixed review. We started with a favorite, Clam Chowder, and it was its usual, excellent. Then came the downside. Since it's the season,...More

Hadn’t been to Banning’s Tavern in awhile and I was looking forward to a delicious well prepared meal. I ordered the grilled marinated Chicken Paillard, mango salsa and rice pilaf thinking it would be a favorable dish. It was not. I doubt the chicken had...More
