Our server,Brooke Met is with indifference. She went through the experience pro forma. I asked what the soup of the day was. Her response was “tomato “. Only to later find out it was tomato bisque. She left the spent dishes (appetizer, etc.) on our...More

We stopped to grab something to eat before a concert at the Avalon. My husband had the tune, which he really enjoyed. I had the crab cake which was nothing to write home about (disappointing coming from an eastern shore town). Our biggest gripe was...More

We stopped into Banning’s while exploring Easton for a weekend. The beet salad was very fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff working the bar greeted us and our waitress was friendly as well. My friend ordered a burger and it looked amazing too. Reasonably priced,...More

We arrived early for our reservation. Nobody greeted us. When we were seated, our server appeared immediately. She recited the specials so fast we had to ask her to slow down and repeat them. We ordered our dinner after a few minutes of looking over...More

Downtown Easton Md has several friendly & tasty eateries. Bannings does not deserve to be # 9. In my opinion, Bannings Tavern is definitely within the Top 4. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. The Bar Patrons Monday thru Friday (locals) are...More

While spending a few vacation days in the area, we chose Banning's for dinner, because of its good reviews, reputation, and a local recommendation. It was a good choice. We had an early dinner at 5:00 - dish, so the place was almost empty. It's...More

Walked in from the sweltering heat for something cold to drink. Sat at the bar, friendly, knowledgeable bartender. Told her what I like, and she made a very nice recommendation. It seems to be a gathering place for the locals. Middle aged crowd.

The meal started off on a great note, the hand breaded onion rings were delicious. Unfortunately, it was downhill after that. My PJ burger, while impressive to view, was not medium rare, but medium well, the pork bbq was tasteless, and the onion straws were...More
