We came for a brunch and found good menu selections and food prepared well. I enjoyed the cheese grits - don't see those every day. The view of Sugarloaf was really nice. We will enjoy coming back.

Whenever we want to go for a nice meal out in the country we consider the Comus Inn. We often get a window table with a lovely view and the food is very good. We're also been there for a special occasion, such as a wedding . We recommend it for any meal or occasion.

I have had the opportunity to eat 5 times over the last 6 months at the Comus Inn - twice for brunch, once for lunch and twice for dinner. First of the setting is absolutely gorgeous. Request to sit in the back room with views overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain. There is also a small private room adjacent to the back room... More

We have been here before and it was very good but this meal was a real treat. We were greater at the door by Jesse who seated us. We had a very pleasant conversation and he helped make a good meal a great meal. He stopped by the table twice to see how we were doing and we chatted some... More

From the moment we walked in on this blustery April early evening (with snow flurries blowing through the flowering trees) we were warmly greeted by Jesse and promptly shown to our table overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain. A location which turned out to be perfect as we later watched the sun slowly set over Sugarloaf. The four of shared the crab hush... More

We visit this restaurant a few times a year, usually with a coupon. Beautiful views of the sugarloaf mountains. Request to sit on the back porch - the views are stunning, especially at sunset. Food is consistently good, service is even better. Great date night, or for an adult family meal when you want something special.

We decided to try here again, as we have not been here for years and we had a coupon. Very disappointed. The staff was very nice pleasant and attentive. The food was not good. I ordered a fish dish. The fish was smothered with so much salty stewed tomato and sausage, you could not find the fish. The risotto was... More

From the moment we enter, we love being greeted by Jesse, the genuinely warm, welcoming Matire'd and led to a table with a lovely view of Sugarloaf mountains. When you reserve, make sure you request the view, since there are other rooms without the view and arrive in time to enjoy the sunset. In the warmer months, there will also... More

My wife & I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance, the setting and the people were wonderful. Service was spot on. We had heard that the food was very good; we can not agree. Drinks were well made, but @ $12/ea, why not fill the glass. The rolls, which we had to request, were standard soft variety. Caesar salad... More

I think I'd go to the Comus Inn just to see Jesse, the excellent and genuinely welcoming maî·tre d, smile. His warmth and interest in greeting guests and making them comfortable is a vast departure from the impersonal and off-hand attitude so common in many restaurants. That welcoming attitude and concern follows through to the dining room. I've had dinner... More
