The Deer Park Inn is an out of the way find! It's about 10 minutes from the touristy Deep Creek Lake area, but it is hidden away off the beaten path. It is SO worth discovering, however! The owners, Pascal and Sandy are a delightful couple with such thick French accents that you'll think you've traveled across the ocean for... More

The Deer Park Inn restaurant is an experience in fresh ingredients, great options to choose from, and outstanding taste. A must try while in the Deep Creek, Oakland area.

My husband and I just spent two wonderful nights at the Deer Park Inn Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted upon our arrival by Sandy, the owner, and felt immediately at home. Her warm personality and hospitality were exceptional! We opted to have dinner there our first night. We enjoyed a yellow and red tomato salad, hand made crab and... More

My wife and I dined here on August 7, 2013 for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We have dined here on 2-3 prior occasions. It is one of the gems of Garrett County, and probably all of Western Maryland. It is in a quaint historic building (from 1872) that is decorated in period style. The service is very personalized (former DC... More

I went again to Deer Park Inn last night with four friends for some wonderful French food. It's the fifth time I've been there this summer. It was a pleasant evening for dining outside on the porch of the old "cottage." On Wednesday and Thursday evenings they have a fixed price menu of crepes for appetizers, main dish, and dessert.... My husband and I wanted a special dinner to keep celebrating our 50th anniversary. Deer Park Inn was our choice. We were seated outsidbon the wrap around porch. The couple who owns the inn handle it all. Our lovely French lady took such care of us. I felt we were on a southern plantation. The French Chef prepared the daily... More

We went with our family and a family friend (ages 16-53). I called and spoke to Sandy and asked about the menu being geared to teenagers. She assured me that the menu changes every night and there was something for everyone. The menu is extremely limited and looking at the reviews, it seems like the same dishes are prepared. My... We dined on the porch of the Deer Park Inn on a beautiful summer evening - and the meal was perfect as well. Every appetizer, salad, entree and dessert for our party of four were perfectly prepared. The best French meal I have had outside of France...

The food here is really quite good. Well thought out, and a talented chef. I am not sure how they stay in business because the place is never crowded. We arrived on Friday night for a 7PM reservation. There were two other couples eating. By the time we left (8:20) we closed the place down. Anyway, the wine list is... More
