While on a road trip we were searching for something local instead of the usual, tired chain places. We found this beauty. We sat outside and opted for their version of breadsticks for an appetizer, which was the first decision we made in a string...of great decisions. The breadsticks appeared to be basically a thin crust pizza with some garlic and oil and cheese. And boy were they good. My kids and I had a pizza and my wife opted for a steak salad and she classified the steak as amazing. Do yourself a favor and hit this place whenever you're in the area.More

Perhaps we were here on an off day. We meet others here as it was half way. Our food was hot but it was basic at best and way way way over priced. Just a note to the owners, when one orders Italian food bread...is expected when your paying 14$. Our server did her job. We are not hard people to please, but we left thinking Wendy’s would have been a better choice. Maybe instead of a meal a pIzza would have been a better choice.More

On the drive down to Virginia and then back, I stayed at the nearby Sleep Inn and ordered a pizza to go from Puccini's. Each time the pizza was delicious -- a real pizza, too. Lots of options on the menu and very good service.

The food at this restaurant was amazing!!! There were 6 of us celebrating my husband’s birthday and we all ate so much because it was just so good!!! Our waiter, Michael, was great, and we will definitely be back when we return to the area!

Right off the highway, and in the middle of a tired-looking strip motel, is a gem of a restaurant. In what appears to be an old house with rustic finishes, find Puccini Restaurant. Although the names sounds Italian, the menu is eclectic and American although...some classic Italian dishes can be found here too. The crab dip was flavorful and served with flatbread strips ("breadsticks"), the ravioli was large portioned and hearty while the tuna steak was a bit skimpy in size but perfectly prepared. Both the French onion soup and cream of crab were excellent, as was the attentive service. We were too full for dessert, but the options sounded good. When back in town, we'll definitely be back to Puccini's.More

Oh my gosh good! My family of 5 had the crab dip, a couple of pizzas, shrimp scampi, and ravioli alla vodka sauce, and a few desserts. Every single thing we had was delicious!!! It's rare for all 5 of us to love everything, usually...someone has something negative to say about something (rotten teenagers!) but this time we agreed it was perfect. Service was great, location is SUPER easy to get to, and the building itself has a ton of character and history. Excellent covid measures taken, did not affect our food or service, but we definitely want to go back post-covid and have a better look around, especially to check out the downstairs (our seats were upstairs). Well done Puccini staff!!More

The food and atmosphere was excellent. Our waitress was Lexi D. and she knew her stuff. We ordered her recommendations of the zucchini fries and the wood fired crab dip and they were delicious. The cheese on the bread was a definite must. The chicken...Marsala was tender and the sauce was light. The lasagna was huge and yummy. Will definitely be stopping here again.More

My husband and I recently dined here and had a great experience. We sat outside as we had our dog with us and waitress came right over with a dog bowl and water for her. I had the margherita pizza which was a bit odd...as it had loads of pizza sauce on it instead of just tomatoes, cheese, basil and EVOO. It was also really soggy, but the crust did taste really good. Salad was very fresh and delicious. Husband had the crab soup that he loved and the quesadilla special which was also good. Ice cream for dessert. Ordered a plain burger for the dog that they cut up and put in a dog bowl for her, love it! All that food and a beer for $48. Well worth itMore

The brick oven pizza was delicious & that says a lot coming from the NY/NJ area which has awesome pizza. We had passed this restaurant for years traveling back & forth to WVU when our son was attending school. It’s been a few years since...he graduated m but we finally made it here. Would definitely go back when in the area again.More

My husband has life threatening peanut and tree nut allergies and safely ate here. I think if you stick to pizza, there is less risk. That is what he did. It is always a risk eating out with allergies, which stinks.
