Not a fan. Expected a small, quaint place like this would have the good. It doesn’t. Average at best, wayyyy over priced. Took forever to get our food, staff seemed confused and overwhelmed behind counter; took 10 minutes to make a smoothie. Won’t be coming...back.More

What a fabulous selection of baked goods, pastries, and desserts! Too much to choose from, and all of it looked so fresh and delicious. Cinnamon twists and Tiramisu were great. The strawberry cream cake also delicious and fresh! Definitely a place to go to get...sweets!More

A little over baked or cake past it’s prime. Icing mediocre. Has potential but needs work. Maybe it’s suitable for some of local clientele but not worth the $$ based on 2 cupcakes I had.

The sandwiches are made with croissants. The croissants themselves are fresh, buttery and first rate, but the options for fillings are limited and the chicken and tuna salad are uninspired.

UNDERCOVER RACISTS! BLACKS AND PEOPLE OF COLOR BEWARE! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 25 STARS I WOULD! I placed an order for a cake yesterday. It hasn't even been 24 hours. I kept thinking about the level of customer service that I received yesterday when...I placed my order. I really wanted this order because one I liked the previous service I received at this bakery, and two I wanted this cake for my sister's graduation. So this morning I called to cancel my order. The first person who answered the call gave the phone to a manager who quoted that there was some bogus reason that she couldn't refund the $ to me but could only grant store credit. Of course I am upset because I am requesting to cancel the order for a reason NOT just because I don't want the cake. Yesterday when I ordered the cake the young white guy who took my order, while he took it, it's like he did so begrudgingly. My sister wanted a yellow cake with white buttercream frosting, but then when I looked at the form, she wanted to know what some of the other flavors tasted like. We both like coconut cake, so I asked the guy what coconut taste like. He took a cupcake from the display, and again he did all this but begrudgingly. When he gave me a plastic spoon to taste the cake, he threw it on the counter. That was strike #1, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Then, the kicker was when I paid for my cake order. I handed my card to him in his hand, but he then placed it and the receipt on the counter. I thought about this all night. Now I know this bakery is in the Atholton High School area, and they have had some racial issues with some of their students calling black students the N-word. And his treatment of me throughout my visit reminded me of that. I thought would he have thrown a spoon at a white customer, or would he had given it to them? The same for the card on the counter. To top this off, the so-called manager with whom I spoke never once cared to ask why I was cancelling the order. When I asked to speak with someone other than her, meaning the owner, she refused, telling me he will be in some day this week and that she was not going to put me in contact with him. She never ONCE asked me why I wanted to cancel the order. And when I pushed her on her lack of concern, she began to explain to me how she handles customer service calls. If the customer doesn't outright tell her what the problem is, she doesn't ask. Again, she came on the phone quoting to me their refund policy, never once asking what was the problem. She didn't even have concern in her voice at all. So this tells me the type of people I have been patronizing all these years. If I had been white, she would've done everything she could to rectify that situation. When the call ended, the manager didn't even explain next steps or anything just bye. I even gave her the opportunity to act like she even cared by telling her I would expose her bakery on every review platform possible. What was the result? Dead silence! Again, if I were some rich white woman, does anyone even think this would have been her response? I can answer that for myself. Everyone tends to think Columbia is this little community insulated from racists, but I know it to be a tad different. Every now and then I will have one of these experiences here, and I'm glad when they happen because they show me who people really are. Just wish I had found this out the other times I'd been here. I guess it took ordering something more extensive than a cupcake or cookie for them to show how they really feel! I have been to Touche's several times. In fact, I just went to their other cafe bakery in Elkridge the other day for the first time. No, I don't want a store credit because this means I would still have to spend my $30 there at your store. But when I tell you I will NEVER patronize this bakery again, I will NEVER. And ANY black or person of color that I know who is even remotely thinking about patronizing this bakery, I will point them to this review. So no, I don't want to come back into your bakery and spend the $30 for store credit. And it's fine that you have gotten $30 off me. I will survive and order my sister's cake from a bakery that will actually treat me like a customer. But rest assured, your racist bakery will reap what you sowed on the back end.More

Went on a Sunday afternoon. I got there about 10 minutes before closing, so they were low on a number of items as you might expect. Their tres leches cake was very good, but could use a little more sauce. The lemon crinkle cookie was...excellent. The canolli was the only real disappointment as the cookie part was soggy having been filled hours earlier and soaking up moisture from the filling. Overall tho, very good and I will definitely be back!!More

I stop by here once a week for coffee, and occasionally, a treat. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The coffee is strong, hot and served with real milk, which is a plus these days. The treats are magnificent, too; fresh and a wide...variety. I love the loyalty card perks, too!More

I’ve been here a couple times now and have not been disappointed. Excellent pastries, moist cupcakes, and tasty cookies make for a great bakery. Haven’t had the chance to try the coffee yet, but they do have some limited seating to linger for a bit....I want to go back to pick up a cake here soon.More

Happened upon Touche Touchet’s second location quite by chance one morning. They had a reasonable selection of breakfast sandwich and coffee options, as well as a nice selection of pastries and cookies. Their Lemon Sugar cookies were large, soft, and tasty. The chocolate croissant was...tasty, but I must not have been there early enough to get that really, really fresh one 😏 I would pop in again, now that I know they are open on Meadow Ridge Road just west of the Route 1 intersection.More

The butter croissants were okay. The apple turnover was very good. The turkey and cheese croissant and the ham and cheeses croissant were okay. Brioche cinnamon roll had too much frosting. The pricing is moderate. The ambiance is okay. The service, not all that great....All in all I would say a mediocre bakery. There are too many other places that you could go to get better bakery items and better service. If you are in the area then I would say go, but there really isn't anything to go out of your way for.More

They have a new location in Elkridge, where 103 goes under 95. I stopped in to check things out and picked up a scone, a brownie, and a cupcake for the family to sample. Went back later that same day for a sandwich, half-dozen scones...and a slice of cake. Went back two days later for their jambalaya lunch special. And I expect I will be there again this week...it’s that good. A bunch of sandwich varieties. A bunch of breakfast options. More cookies, cakes, scones, and cupcakes than a bread-type bakery. Weekday lunch specials.More

Delicious baked goods and friendly staff. I love their cookies, especially the Harvest cookie with oats, dried fruit and nuts...so good! Their cookies are large also and they make cute iced cookies for Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, etc. Have not had one of their homemade cakes...but they look delicious and are so cutely decorated. They also have a small area where you can have a sandwich.More
