I had a veggie garden salad sandwich and I was pretty unimpressed by it; I asked for my bagel to be toasted, but it just came out kind of warmed and strangely doughy. The combination of toppings for the sandwich sounded alright but it came...out not tasting that great. They had a lot of other sandwich options though and the price was decent so I'll go back to give it another shot, and maybe try some cream cheeses too.More
We drove 9 miles south, parking in the free Target garage, then crossing to this corner deli. Its one of many restaurant choices, all normally busy at lunch time, just across from the University of MD, but relatively quiet during the summer session, so our...wait was short at the counter register. We searched the broad overhead menu board choosing a daily "special"(chicken salad on a bagel with coffee and chips), and a turkey Reuben with cup of chicken noodle soup. We used their clean restrooms, returning to our booth until our number was called for our freshly prepared meals. The kitchen/bakery was open to the large dining area with stacks of bagged Dakota Flour, wide glass case to display 10 types of bagels, and nearly as many muffins/cookies. I chose a Blueberry Crumb to accompany a free refill of their excellent Chesapeake Bay Roast Hazelnut(with flavored creams) for dessert, completing a proper lunch totaling $23.00.More

If you're looking for great bagels or pretty tasty muffins, The Bagel Place is the spot in College Park. They have some of the best cream cheese options around. The coffee is good and the service is great.

Had the slice nova and cream on everything bagel. Added capers. It was heavenly! Aunt had just a sesame bagel with butter. She said she loved the dough, nice and soft, and melted in her mouth. We’ll be back!
Visited on a trip to Maryland with a friend who lived in College Park as a student- lots of tales of bagels and this place didn’t disappoint. Went for a piled high Turkey BLT. Worth the trip- but extra great with tales from a friend.
Have lived in the area for decades and BP is always our “go to” for bagel breakfast. They make the bagels fresh on site every day and the the menu offering for sandwiches is fabulous. Can be very crowded on busy UMD weekends.
after we got home i called the supervisor Samuel, he hung up on me when i tried to tell him that 2 of the 3 bagel sandwiches we took to go were prepared wrong..this is not a way to run a business, but that's what...happens when you leave immature people in charge..ATTENTION OWNERS!! this occurred today 3/19/18 @ 1:49pm..will not return and will advise others to ck their order before they leave!More
I love their everything bagels and their coffee. Such a great college bagel spot. My partner loves their spinach white pizza bagels and the Chai lattes as well.
