This is a carryout not a restaurant, I've frequented this carryout many, many times over the years as I used to live in the area. Very good items and friendly people working there.

Easy stop just of the 495 Beltway. Got out of traffic and had a quick meal. Kung Pao chicken prepared perfectly. Huge portion. Mainly for takeout, but a couple of two top tables. And, right next to a Starbucks for a coffee to go once you are ready to get back on the road.

Ordered from here while visiting family and it was their delivery choice. Order shrimp fried rice, egg foo young along with just the egg foo young gravy, steamed veggies and crab wontons. We received generals chicken for free because of the amount we spent. The shrimp fried rice was the usual, but the egg foo young gravy was sweet for some reason, not sure why so not my fav. The general chicken was pretty good, I reheated it the next day and it hit the spot.
So if your hungry this place isn't bad, they said 45 minutes for delivery but showed up in like 20 min! So thats a plus, although the delivery guy wasn't that nice, but oh well.

A typical Asian carry-out with a larger patron area than most. Only two tables with six chairs but lots of room for expansion. Very extensive menu with over 200 listings of typical Asian food (mainly Chinese), sandwiches, lunch specials, combination plates, and wings. Vegetarian dishes are available. My portions (I ate in) were generous and tasty. Items are presented in plastic containers (not Styrofoam or cardboard.) Prices were slightly higher than nearby similar take-out restaurants.

Bland fried rice, dirty grease and delivery staff only grunted when spoken to. Travelers cannot tell what the locals eat unless they read reviews. However, the locals reviewed this place as good. That was not my experience. I am also from NYC so I expect high quality Chinese food.

After a long day, my wife and I decided to pick up some Chinese food at Yum's Express which we have never had before. The chicken with cashews wasn't bad however, the sweet & sour chicken was hard and the order of wontons was not edible. I tried to take a bite out of several of the wontons and seriously could not bite them. That is how old and hard they were. Most of the food went straight in the trash.

Decent chinese food, but not wonderful. We use them because they deliver and it's decent. Sweet and sour is pretty good, sesame chicken is not.

This place serves both Chinese food and subs, which I thought was a bit odd. We stuck with the Chinese food. The egg rolls were pretty greasy, but also tasty. But the bottom of the bag was literally swimming in grease, it was really bad. The beef and broccoli tasted more like chicken, it was kind of odd tasting, and the broccoli was not fresh. The chicken and cashews was excellent, one of the best I've had in a while. The kids liked the chicken wings, but they don't cut off the tip like most places do, and that makes for a bad presentation, and I had to pull them off myself so the kids didn't eat them.

Placed an order for Happy Family which is sliced pork, shrimp, beef chicken & sautéed lobster w vegetable in tasty brown sauce also order a Philadelphia Hoagies. My entire order was devoid of flavor except for the raw onions in the hoagie. The steamed rice for the Happy Family dish was cold and hard.

Just got takeout delivered and it's super yummy! Quick delivery. General Tso's white meat is as good as any I've had. Won ton soup is spot on. Only negative is I asked for 'lots of duck sauce' and got three packets. I'm improvising now with the Tso's sauce but it's still really good. They even delivered to Cherry Hill Park where we were camping!

The food had no flavor and both the beef and pork dishes tasted the same, like nothing. the egg roll was loaded with grease and soggy.

I don't like broccoli, and neither does my husband. But ordering standard meals without vegetables at most restaurants usually means one or both of us end up with something we don't want to eat. Not at Yum's. We have been ordering from them for several years (mostly delivery), sometimes once a week or more, and I think maybe one time an item was missing from our order.
It's a very small restaurant with two tables because most of their business is from carry-out. The food portions are generous and if you ask for no vegetables, rest assured they will get the order correct -- and for those of you with kids, you know that no one likes to pick through their food! ;)
My favorite dishes are the chicken in garlic sauce and the beef with black pepper sauce (spicy!). I have not tried their American food, but they also offer subs, fries, and mozzarella sticks.

Friday night rush. One lady manning front counter, answering phone, bagging carryouts.
We ordered off menu, got food in 15 minutes. During that time, lady processed about 12 orders, phone and in person. Mostly take out business. We ate at one of the two fast-food tables provided.
We ordered small dinner portions, less than $6, surprised by big quantity.
We are authorities on Chinese food, having run a Chinese restaurant 25 years.
This food is 80%. Service decent, considering the rush.
Veges in entree were fresh and crisp. Dark sauce on cashew chicken quite good. Chicken itself was standard for Chinese restaurant, if you know what I mean.
Szechuan chicken much better than average.
Bean curd meal much better than average.
