Here today for lunch and it was a pleasure as always. Food is well prepared, tastes great, and is fantastically priced. A winner.

Parking in Greenbelt is frankly a pain, and it's no different here. All parking is metered (a quarter for twenty minutes) and often nearly full, but this small family run restaurant is worth the trip. Seating is limited to nine or ten tables and the...More
I could not finish my chicken gyro. It just did not taste right! I will no be back to Marathon Deli.
We stopped by Marathon Deli as we passed through town and stopped to take my college freshman son to lunch. It's a small deli that specializes in Greek food. The food was very good. We had the gyro platter and the chicken gyro special. Both...More
Went here for lunch two days in a row because it was quite good. The gyro platters were very good and large enough for two, free drink refills (although you have to ask), and the service was excellent (the cashier was super nice and the...More
Really small place with limited seating, but the food is really good. The gyro platter is enough for two to share, or to take home a decent sized portion. Lots of great gyro meat and it's delicious, although I would have liked a few more...More
We enjoyed this very small, hard to find parking and in need of a remodel establishment. We are somewhat frugal when we eat out and this place attracted us with the reviews on yelp. Each of us had the gyro platter with fries. My wife...More
Marathon is a family tradition; I've been going there since 1979. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place with parking out front. Outstanding gyros, but don't miss the seasoned fries. Also great souvlaki. Worth a look if you're near the University of Maryland.
I've been here a couple of times over the last few years. Each time the staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. Great Gyros!
