Serving sizes are generous, and the ice cream is very creamy and rich - reminds me of a frozen custard. Tastes the same as all other Cold Stone's, but this one is certified kosher (cholov stam) by the Vaad (Rabbinical Council) of Greater Washington. Limited...More
They offer ice-cream sundaes with your choice of toppings, fused together by smashing on cold stone. Hence, the name.
The ice cream choices and mix-ins are fun and tastey, but you pay for it. There is very little seating, so don't expect to linger. Parking in the area is all metered. There are plenty of restaurants in the walkable area in case you want...More
Coldstone is pretty much the same wherever you go...this one was good. Staff was a bit slow, so they had a line backed up behind us but the ice cream was good!
No complaints, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I guess I shouldn't expect anything spectacular for a chain ice cream shop, but we definitely enjoyed our shakes. Like most restaurants of its kind, the prices were a bit higher than we would like...More

The ice cream is great and the flavors are always changing. The service is goo. Parking is problimatic--you need to pay.
Mobbed with Maryland students. Controlled bedlam atmosphere. Understaffed for the amount of clientele which led to long waits.
Absolutely delicious ice cream, huge servings. Really, this could be a meal in itself! Not cheap, but excellent. They do have a small amount of seating inside.
