Ordered some carryout to have for dinner in our hotel room during a couple day stay in Cockeysville, and it was a good choice. My wife had just had surgery and wanted something light, so she went with the grilled cheese sandwich (good) and chicken...noodle soup (very good). I had the MD crab soup and meatball sub, both which were very good. We also had an order of onion rings, which were average. prices were good, and they do a good job with their Covid protocol (I saw masks on every employee, including the kitchen), which I appreciated. Seemed like a good place to me.More

We ordered pizza from this location and it was typical pizza for the area. My husband and I are from NJ/NY and know good pizza, this is not that. The dough was some type of pre made chewy dough that was ok. Overall it was...an ok experience with ok food.More

What a disappointing start to our lunch today. The server could not have been less attentive if he had tried. I was meeting a girlfriend for lunch. I sat for a good long time and finally signaled to have the server come over so that...I could order some ice water to drink. When my friend arrived, we sat for over 15 minutes before getting his attention because we wanted to order. There were no other patrons in the restaurant at that time; thus, they were not busy. He finally came over – was terribly confused on how to enter the food into the hand-held computer or what I wanted to order. He finally placed our order and again I had to signal for him to remind him to get our drinks. Thankfully, Henry took over. I did thoroughly enjoy the Fish Gyro, it was hot and delicious. My friend ordered the grilled chicken over the house salad with blue cheese dressing on the side. The restaurant needs to train their staff to be aware of the customer’s needs and not leaving them just sitting there.More

The one thing we can always count on is a terrific time at Roma’s. Brianna and Nick always manage to reign in our lively group and take excellent care of us. How they keep everything straight is beyond me. We enjoyed everything from soup to...dessert. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious; and, the prices are so reasonable. We all like the BYOB policy with no corkage fee. Thanks for another great dinner at Roma’s!More

Roma’s never disappoints - it always delivers just really good food and lots of it. We met friends for dinner. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, but filled up quickly. They have a new way to show you what they are offering on...special – on the TV – very interesting! Our friends called and said they were running late. So, we decided to enjoy a cup of the vegetable soup while we waited. The soup was filled with every conceivable vegetable in a savoring broth – just hit the spot on this chilly night. We love the BYOB with no corkage fee. We enjoyed the New York strip, fried rockfish, and grilled chicken breast over rice. The entrees came with two sides. The other dish was pasta with Italian sausage that came with Italian bread. We all liked our dinners so much we forgot to take pictures of them. And, the portions were so generous that we had enough for lunch the next day!More

Wow, our sincere thanks to Nick and his staff for taking such great care of our party of 14. We enjoyed having the time to visit with each other without being rushed. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Your seafood is always so perfectly prepared and...delicious. Several of us chose Italian dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. Everyone raved about the garlic bread. It was so nice of you to help us celebrate a birthday with soft ice cream for all. The food and service were exceptional, and topping it all off was how reasonable the prices were for the huge portions. Thanks for a great evening!More

We met friends at Roma’s for dinner last night. Roma’s staff is always so welcoming and friendly. They serve up the best comfort food – always fresh and delicious. I was in the mood for a Gyro platter which came with two sides, and I...opted for a double salad with their house dressing. The house dressing is really good – it is a creamy Italian dressing made up of a ton of herbs and spices. My husband had a perfectly cooked and seasoned New York Strip. He also enjoyed a double salad; but, he likes his with feta cheese. Our friend started with a cup of the chicken noodle soup which he declared to have the best broth. He enjoyed a Petite Crab Imperial with a baked potato. His wife ordered the Flounder Florentine special. When it arrived, she asked how many people were going to be eating it; it was such an enormous portion. She had enough to take home for another meal. She was pleased that it had crab meat included in it. She had broccoli and a salad as well. The restaurant is always so quiet even when it is filled. We love the BYOB with no corkage fee. The prices are so reasonable. We had a great time!More

Stopped in around 5pm on a Saturday. Two other tables with older diners. They seemed satisfied with the food that was coming out. Ordered cheese steak and Italian subs. Italian sub was acceptable but uninteresting- nothing special about it. The CS sub's roll was way...over toasted, but that said, the filling was good. Side order of fries had a coating on them instead of standard cut "goldens" the way we like them. The waiter was good and he brought the fries out early without our asking. Place has a reasonable seating area, looks to be a family operation, and is in the same parking lot as Jiffy Lube (in same building as their regional office). Will probably go back to try the pizza, but will probably pass on the subs in the future.More

We decided to have an early dinner with the grandchildren, so off we went to Roma’s. They have a new menu. It was nice to see that the prices increased just a little. The grandchildren loved their spaghetti and meatballs. They now order the full...portion, which was a huge portion. They have plenty for another meal. It came with garlic bread – another favorite. My husband always enjoys the Chicken Marsala over linguini. I had them make me a different version of a Gyro – they made it with rockfish for me. The staff very kindly gave the grandchildren soft ice cream for dessert. Roma’s always delivers.More

I would suggest you call Nick at Roma's to see they can handle 45 people. 410-628-6565 - menu is on website: You might also call Carlo's Italian Bistro - very close to the church – corner of Church Lane and York Road... More
