Booked a table for 6 on a Saturday night. Big mistake of arriving early to have a drink first. There’s no bar! Probably should of checked first but you would of thought there would be a bar. Had to wait outside for 30 mins until...More

Went there for my birthday. The pub is picturesque and is very cosy and inviting inside. The dead plants outside the pub are not a great advertisement though. The staff was excellent and by far the most attentive and friendly in the country! The starter...More

We were welcomed warmly and our pre ordered champagne was waiting nice and chilled on our table. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Food all top notch. Nice gin and cocktail selection also.

Very difficult to review this place as I could be guilty of hyperbole. Sunday lunch of onion and cheese tart, roast beef with all trimmings followed by plumb crumble - perfect. Service pretty good too! Well done all. We will be back.

Hospitalised hours after eating here with what hospital described to me as chronic food poisoning. Not my favourite birthday meal ever. I had the oysters and fillet steak . We were so very disappointed with reaction of Mr Clerehugh having been such fans of the...More
