This is a casual self-service restaurant / cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Many kinds of French crepes and specialty coffees are available. Best of all there is free parking right in front in crowded Ellicott City. Excellent food and quick service.

My wife and I decided that we needed to try this place. Just go down Main Street in Old Ellicott City, go under the bridge, and just up on the left is the Old Mill Cafe. Very quaint with plenty of outdoor seating. COVID standards...are in full effect, and everyone is making sure to clean, sterilize and disinfect the establishment, especially inside. Employees wear masks and make sure that everything is no to little contact as possible. Plenty of awesome choices, breakfast and lunch served all day. Omelettes, crêpes, breakfast sandwiches, salads, pancakes, pastries, smoothies that are incredibly delicious and fresh. I ordered a do-it-yourself omelette with swiss and mushrooms with freshly-made whole wheat toast. It was fantastic. My wife ordered the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. She was thrilled she did. I ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie and again, just totally yummy. My wife ordered iced tea, that was fresh brewed. Overall, a wonderful experience, plenty of outdoor seating on their patio and in front. Also, plenty of free parking. For something fresh and delicious, and the chance to break the monotony of staying at home, try the Old Mill Cafe on Frederick Road in Old Ellicott City. Definitely worth the trip.More

This is a great little venue with good coffee, food, service, and atmosphere. I came here with two sets of friends and had the veggie crepe both times. YUM! They have a good variety of cafe style food and lots of hot and cold drinks...to choose from. They were closed for awhile due to the flooding in Ellicott City last year. Glad they re-opened. I walked into the Old Mill Cafe today not expecting anything and to my delight there was a live band playing good music and the place was filled to the brim with adults and children dancing, chatting, and just people having fun. Maybe this is...a regular thing but it was really cool to see such a lively place happening at 10am on a Sunday morning. I usually get the avocado toast which is amazing but today I tried the roast chicken panini. They have crepes and omelets among other breakfast items which I have not tried but given how good the other items are I can imaging they are quality. Highly recommend this place for the food, coffee, and ambiance, a real fun place in EC/Oella.More

Old Mill catered an event for our organization in January. They did a great job and were wonderful to work with

I like it. They have books to read, poetry, they have flyers on local events. The coffee is good, they serve some good foods, the wait staff are very friendly, there are two bathrooms, they have live music on Sunday mornings. Pretty good deal.

We were so happy to see Old Mill open up again after the flood and the new ownership is by far the best the Old Mill has ever had. The staff is very friendly,the cafe is always clean and inviting and the outdoor patio is...adorable. I like to visit this place as it has got best outdoor seating arrangement. I love to enjoy the palak panner with kofta and parota, which is my favorite item here

This place has made a comeback. Everything you liked about it before, or if you have never been, you will find the warm and friendliest of staff there to greet you, or welcome you back. Have a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and sit...while you enjoy your croissant. We enjoyed every minute, just knowing we were in the midst of history.
