My seven member family, including two nieces under the age of three, had lunch here and it was great. The staff was really helpful about showing how to break down the steamed crabs for eating. The DoCo poutine was really tasty. Chicken skewers were very...good. And the atmosphere was casual. Would definitely return for another meal. Staff was great!More

Food was good. Servers were friendly. Mode of doing business is too impersonal at THEIR own peril. FORCING you to order from a QR menu AND PAY BRFORE YOU EVER RECEIVE ANYTHING. VER slow to het drinks and food (very good mojito). How am I...supposed to know how to tip? I tip based on level of service received; usually pretty generous(25% I F Serviced received if good). When you ask me to tip WHEN I PLACE MY ORDER….I have zero experience of which to evaluate the amount of tip earned. Therefore, we tipped the 15% minimum(even though it should have been less due to inconvenience & slow arrival of food & drinks). Tipping is an opportunity for the server to EARN MORE MONEY and NOT an entitled guarantee. If i’d wanted to eat at a place operating as if i was picking up carry-out, I would have done so. I was expecting a good meal with friendly & prompt personal service. We did not receive that. Your method of operation cost your servers $. We won’t be back.More

Been coming here for years. But sadly they’ve changed. They now have a QR system on the table to place your order OR you can walk up to the counter and place your order. It’s not a cafeteria but felt like one. I’m going out...to eat as a treat. I’m going out so I’m not cooking or doing the dishes. I expect someone to come to my table. They expect a tip. They said the service wouldn’t change. It did. Dirty plates sat on table entire meal. The “jumbo” crabs, a joke. very light. Sent one back. The one they replaced it with was what the entire dozen should have been.More

We ate at Ocean Odyssey our first night in Cambridge. I had been there about 7 years ago. I don't remember great ambiance then, and it hadn't changed. But the food was very good. The cream of crab soup was wonderful. Someone had the fried...soft shell. Oysters, fried shrimp, fried clams. No shortage of good things to eat. You go to a restaurant to eat, so GO!More

Not very much positive to say. We entered the restaurant planning to eat inside but two older gentlemen were entertaining with music very loudly. Most of the restaurant was closed off so we had no other option other than eating outside or sitting in the...small room where the gentlemen were playing. We ordered, I asked and was told that our meals would be delivered to us outside. After waiting for what we thought was a very long time, I went to check on our dinners....which were sitting in a bag on the counter, waiting for pick up. The cream of crab soup was delicious, it was thick with crab. Our pan fried a la carte crabcake and the crabcake sandwich had more filler than lump crab. The french fries were soggy due to sitting in a container and not delivered to us in a timely manner. We each had a drink and our total for this mediocre dinner was almost $100! Needless to say, we won't return.More

Visited twice during a recent stay at the Hyatt. Food was great, prices reasonable, and friendly service. Closes at 8:00 though, so come early for dinner!

Our family of three stopped here for a delightful lunch. I had the spinach salad with a crab cake which was absolutely divine and one of the best I have had. My son had their award winning "Bay on a Bun", which has a soft-shell...crab, oysters, and blue catfish. He registered his approval. Would we return if in the area? Absolutely!More

If I could give it zero stars I would. Placed an order over the phone and was told it would be about 35 mins. Went there after 40 mins and was told that they had not even started our order yet and it would be...another 60 minutes. What made it even worse is that we paid for our order before they told us it was not ready. Would advise not to go hereMore

This restaurant was highly recommended by other reviewers and by our concierge. But we cannot recommend it. The restaurant itself is filthy (menus, chairs, table tops, floors and bathrooms). We had to ask for a paper table top cover and washed after holding the menus....Moreover, only a few members of the staff (not our waiter) wear masks. (It's totally discretionary for staff). So you have to be vaccinated. The tables are also close together. The service was also poor and the food was subpar. I'm sure the steamed crabs are good. But it doesn't take a chef to steam a crab. We opted for other menu choices. Steamed shrimp, a crab cake dinner and fish tacos. The shrimp were just OK. Not as fresh as I would have liked. The crab cakes were fine. But the fish in the tacos was over seasoned, and over fried. It was a rough night after with digestive problems.More

The Maryland steamed crabs were unbelievably fresh. We also enjoyed the steamed shrimp. Odyssey delivered on the quintessential Maryland seafooed experience!

Stopped for quick lunch on way to Chincoteague. Love Maryland crab cakes but this is not a place I would recommend for one of these delicacies. Loads of filler and very little lump crab meat and you will pay 21.99 for a sandwich with fries...on the side. Try Old Saltys on Hoopers Island if you want a good crab cake ! Must mention how nice the waitress was, as that was the redeeming factor and a nice mojitos on the sideMore
