The High Spot Cambridge, MD I hope as up for a light meal but ended up being much larger than we had anticipated. I ordered a fantastic drink called a Caramel apple mimosa which was made using a Caramel rimmed glass, caramel vodka, apple cider and Prosecco. It was a little sweet, very crisp, light and very refreshing. We started... More

I went there to meet friends. I ended up getting an order of fried green tomatoes. They might be one of my favorite foods-- and High Spot did not disappoint. Now, I'm not a big fan of the jumbo crab meat they put on top (one because it does not add to the deliciousness of the tomato, two--it hikes the... More

My husband and I decided to dine here for our Valentines dinner. We decided to eat from the special holiday menu. The food was wonderfully prepared. There were some issues with our salad arriving too soon after our appetizer and the entrée being warm but not hot, but we would give the restaurant a second try. The baked brie was... More

Had dinner with two business associates. The restaurnat was not very busy, perhaps Tuesday night traffic, however, it was not a reflection of the amazing experience we had. We were greated by a very friendly server who throughout the entire dinner kept eye contact with us. We had truffle fries, Buffalo Oysters and the fried Cauliflowers for appetizers, blackened Rockfish... More

My wife and I decided to retry High Spot where we have eaten a few times but have never had a good meal. Unfortunately, it fell short again. I ordered a braised pork shank on special which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife tried the stuffed river trout with basmati mixed with cherry tomatoes. The shank was charred... More

We stopped by for lunch in January and both of us had salads. I would say that the food was fine but not copious for the price. I had a salad with a piece of cheese and walnuts and coffee and my wife had a salad as well plus a microbrew draft beer ($7). The bill came to $40 including... More

Great food, attentive service... Missy, our waitress, was excellent and glad we took her recommendations! Pork nachos a win for sure! Will definitely be back.

A lovely restaurant with a nice variety of food for every taste. Very friendly and helpful waitresses. Fabulous cream of crab soup!! I don't know what they add to it (nutmeg?) but it won the crab soup contest on our recent getaway. Check out the history too - Ella Fitzgerald and a number of other famous musicians have been there!!
