Just can't figure out the appeal, other than its in the neighborhood. I have yet to have a decent meal at this place. I only went because my neighbor goes there all the time and wanted to go there for a quick bite. I have ordered mediocre salmon, scallops(which was no longer on the menu) cold fries..... In the past.... More

We get Wild Tomato food often, much preferring their fish tacos to nearby Fish Tacos' fish tacos. Wild Tomato's other offerings are good too. Because of the food, service and prices Wild Tomato is often crowded/noisy, but it's by far the best local restaurant. Parking can be a problem.

Varied menu with large portions and above average quality. Countrylike interior, unpretentious with family type friendliness.

Love the variety here. Friendly service, some outdoor seating. Love the fish tacos, pizzas, salads, desserts, shrimp & grits. Manager is great here. Solid neighborhood gem.

Decent, if uninspiring, dinner option if you live nearby. Not a destination restaurant. If you have any allergies, the small kitchen makes this a dicey choice (they told us they couldn't guarantee any gluten-free-safe choice because of the small kitchen). If you want salad and a piece of fish, it's fine. Small restaurant, a little cramped and a very small... More

Sunday night my husband picked up five orders of food for our dinner. Three of us remained fine. Those that had the salmon, the pasta with meatballs and the tacos stayed healthy. BUT two of us had the Bbq CHIcKEN SALAD - something I had ordered many times to take out or eat in. We both became VERY sick within... More

Wild Tomato is my first choice for eating in Cabin John (I live in the Hood). The food is good enough. It's a bit pricey, but not unreasonable. Try to go when it's not crowded.

Love the food, ambiance and friendliness of this small neighborhood spot. Visited three times this year and plan to come back many times. The food is fantastic. Discovered the chocolate hazelnut bread pudding this time. Yum!

I like all of the appetizers and the clam strips are my favorite. Soups are great and if they have a gumbo, try it. My gumbo was a Louisiana style gumbo with bits of sausage, possibly andouille sausage. Customers love their hamburgers, and you can add on bacon, cheese (blue cheese crumbles are nifty), or onion string crisps – live... More

Happy hour ROCKED 3pm-5pm. Lovely little place. Nacho's were yummie! You may call to double check to see of they are busy before going. We saw lots of good looking food being served. Bartender did a great job and drinks were fab!!
