This is a local's family eatery and great truck stop before getting back on the road. Very comfy atmosphere, okay food, and great if you're in a hurry.

Rip's is a local institution. I have been there many times. With locol groups and with my family. They have good food, the staff is pleasant, and the prices are right.

I like Rips Sunday Brunch buffet special so much it's our "go to place" if we don't feel like cooking at home. The price is reasonable and the food taste like I was eating at gramdma's house. They have a large variety to choose from so everyone should be happy! They also have a large variety of dinner entrees but... More

The biscuits and gravy had no flavor. The ham and cheese omelette was not good. The eggs were hard. I don't even know what kind of sausage they had the fruit was fresh. The bacon was good. The grits were good. The salmon was horrible. The French toast was okay. For the price it's not worth it to go.

Two of our party of 4 ordered the Rainbow Trout, a simple dish easy to prepare; but I think restaurants always know when they're trying to pass off stale fish, but that doesn't make it right. It spoils the diner's evening. The Very Old Trout, no kidding, was served with undercooked rice which crunched in the teeth. The waiter wasn't... More

Three friends and I ate here on a Thursday evening in mid-June. We were seated quickly and our server brought water quickly. From then on, our experience was mixed. The food, while good enough, was nothing to write home about. Caesar salads were way overdressed, almost to the point of being soggy. My shrimp was overcooked and the coating was... More

When I was younger I frequented Rip's. I moved away from the area and can't go as much as I would like to. On the way home from a day trip, I stopped at Rip's for lunch. Is was as good as I remembered. Service and food are excellent!!! Everything was hot and fresh. Our waitress talked to everyone like... More

My family and I always eat here after a day trip to Six Flags. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is fun and the service is always excellent. I recently had stuffed shrimp, cream of crab soup and a garden salad; the food is always fresh. I wish more restaurants would use dark leafy greens for salad like Rip's... More

Very clean location that was very good for our large group. Many/Most of the guests were kids so having a variety of food choices was key.

Thank Dave H
