We had a wonderful dinner dining outside. There was a great view of the Ocean City skyline and the golf course grounds. It was a great experience from beginning to end. The hostess was very friendly and when any of the wait staff went by...our table they asked if we needed anything. The drunken mussels were the best we ever had. We opted for the potato au gratin based on our waiter’s recommendation and he was spot on. My daughter had the filet, well done. Though I prefer my filet medium rare, I had a taste and it was delicious. We also had the salmon and seafood scampi, all perfectly done. There was also live entertainment. We will definitely dine here again.More

We made reservations at this establishment and were promptly seated upon arrival. Staff was friendly and efficient. Setting is lovely, the view is beautiful. The menu was a little on the small side. There are still plenty of choices for any patron. Service was attentive...and apologetic because the kitchen was a little on the slow side. They explained that they were just re-opening after the long closure due to Covid. We didn’t mind the delay as it was the 1st night of vacation and we enjoyed conversation and the view. All the food tasted good and was well prepared and seasoned when it arrived. It was worth the wait. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. We will most definitely return on future trips to OC.More

First time at this restaurant. Ordered the “2 can dine for $69” and it was a good value. Arrived before sunset and only 1-2 couples seated by the large window, so we were lucky to get a table at the window with a good view...of water. House wine (Chardonnay selected) was excellent, warm rolls really good. Ordered appetizer to share (flatbread)- a great choice, 4-5 slices of tasty tomatoes & cheese on roasted flatbread. Spouse had cup of Maryland crab soup (I tried it, tasty, a little bit of crab), I had Ceaser salad (but overdressed, it was ok). Entree was delicious, good portion -I had salmon, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Spouse upgraded his flat iron steak to filet, and wow- what a tender well-cooked meat! Overall excellent dinner. The music was interesting- a slowed version of popular songs sung by female (we guessed one to be, “You’re the One that I want” from Grease, and other to be “Ordinary World” by Duran Duran)- very enjoyable! Stephan provided outstanding service.More

We enjoyed dining here over 5 years ago and wanted to try it again while we were chilling at the beach in January. We made reservation via Open Table and were only 1 of 2 parties in the restaurant area one Saturday night! However, the...bar area was very lively. The food did not dissappoint! The Lobster Bisque ($9) was fantastic! Lots of chunk lobster meat. My wife and I really enjoyed the Seafood Pasta ($29) as well, shrimp, scallops and crab meat in a white wine sauce with linguine. We accompanied our meals with a glass of wine ($8/ea) and finished by sharing a Chocolate Brownie Sundae ($7). Our server, Stephen, was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Lots of free parking out front of the clubhouse. We'll definitely come back in the summer!More

There isn't a better view in a radius of 50 miles. Both dinner and brunch(on Sunday) are most enjoyable and are served by a most congenial staff. Overseen by a charming and professional general manager.

We’ve dined at Lighthouse Sound a number of times over the years and honestly, don’t think there’s a better view in the area! This trip we ate in the pub/club (there was a wedding reception in main dining room). There were two people working the...room, the bartender and another server. We spoke with both and very much enjoyed the interaction. The bartender was our primary server and he was very capable and professional. The whole room seemed to be taken good care of. He knew just how much time to spend at each table, enough to be engaging but not so much that other tables were neglected nor so much that he overwhelmed. We very much enjoyed our dinner as we were offered both the pub menu or the main dining room menu or any combination there of. We chose items off both menus and enjoyed everything! The crab soup and crab cakes were very good and we loved the rum raisin bread pudding w/ ice cream. Thank goodness we only had one to share, it was a pretty large portion, perfect for my wife and I. I wholeheartedly recommend Lighthouse Sound. Either dining area is great...and views are Fantastic!More

We weren't sure if the "2 for $69 plus a bottle of wine" Sunday - Thursday dinner special still existed, and we were delighted to find that it did. We shared an appetizer of fried calamari with marinara sauce, and the breading was light and...not greasy. Great start! After ample tossed salads, we both had the salmon with lemon dill sauce, which was a nice portion, along with asparagus and scalloped potatoes. Nothing special about the vegetables, but the fish was especially good. We each got a dessert--a chocolate fudge cake for me and the cheesecake for my dining partner. The no-name wine was a light chardonnay, and we had the great view of the shoreline of Ocean City as our backdrop. One of the things I like about this restaurant is the spacing between tables; you are not forced to listen to others' conversations. It's a nice dining space with a great price point for off-night dining.More

Went for a special occasion. It's basically your typical "country club" style golf course restaurant. Overall, the food was ok. It wasn't horrible, but certainly wasn't amazing either. We were told that the crab cakes were the "signature" dish and that the owners and chefs...really prided themselves on them. But they shouldn't. They were really mealy and stringy with no lumps at all, and lackes flavor. Way too much binder--not necessarily too much breading, but there was too much of the wet ingredients that overpowered the crab flavor. If they thinknyheir crab cakes are good, then they should be embarrassed. And it wasn't just mine that were like that. Other people in our group had the same observations, and they loomed no differrent when being served to other tables. Perhaps they're catering more to the tourist crowd from Pennsylvania who doesn't know any better?More
