The restaurant itself is located on a Golf Course in a Development called, The Preserve. Don’t let this dissuade you from going because it’s easily accessible. The dining area looks out over the Assawoman Bay and you can see Ocean City in the far distance....The bay is a magnificent view. The dining room has a huge real fireplace that I imagine makes for a wonderful evening in the fall or winter. The staff is very friendly and our waiter Andrew, was warm and but professional and very attentive. He gets a 5 star rating. Just a couple of nit picks bring the overall rating to a 4.0. These are mostly personal preference so take that into consideration. The menu says Pan Fried Grouper but Andrew informed us it would be substituted with Flounder. I understand supply chain issues but when the menu is online it would be nice to have known that. The fillet was cooked to my specifications and companion asparagus was tasty stayed warm throughout the meal. The rice (Jasmine) seemed like it had been left out too long before it was served. It was lukewarm and stuck together. The bread was dry and not very warm. Again, these are little things that could be just a rare event. Food was good but I think a more extensive menu would raise the bar nicely. Give it a try.More

The staff particularly, Stephen and Sarah, worked hard to make our dinner meal very enjoyable. A fair size wine list made it easy to share a great bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal. My wife enjoyed the Lighthouse Sound's chicken piccata and my sea...platter was excellent. Our dessert, a brownie ala mode, finished the meal. The Lighthouse Sound's view of the bay makes it a great venue to dine. We will be back!More

The wife and I always enjoy dining here. The views overlooking the bay and the Ocean City skyline really add to the relaxing atmosphere. The interior dining area is attractive and comfortable. Great place to have dinner and you do not have to be a member to eat here. The club house is situated overlooking the golf course and bay. You do not need to wear a suit/dress since a lot of the golfers eat there when...not on the course. However, it is a nice place for a date night and a get dressed up dinner. Check out the menu online. They have a $69 3-course dinner special that comes with a bottle of wine - A really good value and worth it. We enjoyed our visit and would go here again in the future. Service and food quality was top notch.More

Vacationing with spouse. Excellent dinning experience with friendly attentive service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Both with views of the golf course and bay. Our appetizer and entree were delicious. Would return.

Our Spring Golf trip this year was for Ocean City Maryland. We played the Links at Lighthouse Sound the last day. Very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and was very helpful. The course was in very good shape making for a nice day.

Reserved a table for 2 for a Saturday night meal, were seated promptly at a table with a view, the manager ensured water and bread we provided and the candle was lit - off to a good start. Then we waited for the waiter, and...waited. The beef wellington appetizer was very good, the soups were tasty and plentiful portions, and the entrees ok but not memorable given the price. I guess our experience would have been better if the waiter was attentive and the service consistent - several tables near us received sherbet between courses, we did not. Those same tables were well taken care of by their waiter - he out hustled ours by a factor of 5! I guess we just got the wrong waiter but that doesn’t excuse the inconsistency in the service offerings - I consider that to be a shortcoming of management. One more thing - the bugs in the chandelier globe is not a good look and definitely not something you expect to see in a fine dining establishment.More

Austin was our server and was spectacular. We ate here during in season but wanted to try off season. The food was excellent and we’d definitely return. The beef Wellington appetizers were very tasty. I got the seafood platter which was fresh and my partner...got the pork shank which was tender. The Berry desert was as good as they said. Overall great experience.More

Fortunately not located in Ocean City, but mere minutes away. Cross the RT 90 bridge and you moments away from fine dining. We had an early dinner out on the patio. They serve a two for $69 dinner with appetizer, soup or salad, entree and...a bottle of wine. We were served by Brittany, who was incredibly attentive to our needs. She suggested switching tables when a nearby group of golfers got loud. After dark, when it became a bit buggy, a citronella candle appeared at the table. Their mussels cioppino were delicious as was my parmesan aioli encrusted salmon. My wife's Risotto and sauteed vegetables was delicious, plentiful and contained a good assortment. Not crowded. An excellent way to avoid the crush of Ocean City, with spectacular views of the bay.More

Discovered this gem while visiting Ocean City. If you want a nice dinner without the mayhem of Ocean City I suggest you come here. Golf course setting with lovely views of OC with good food/drinks/service. I can see why this is also a beautiful wedding...venue.More

As a first-timer at Lighthouse, I was truly impressed with the service, food and aesthetics. They had an impressive wine list and well-prepared entrees. My ribeye steak was delicious; because I like my meats well-done, not everyone knows how to prepare it as such. The...seafood was certainly fresh. Adria was our waitress and she went above and beyond to ensure that my special lady had a memorable birthday. We will definitely return to the Lighthouse!More
