Three of us went to Wildwood Kitchen for dinner on a Saturday night, and the experience was phenomenal from beginning to end. We were greeted warmly, and our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly and efficient. The menu is the perfect length - not too many choices that you wonder how any kitchen could successfully execute all of them, not too... More

My wife and friends ate here after attending a function nearby. We found the menu offerings diverse and appealing. All four of us cleaned our plates with zeal! Delicious. I recommend the carrot soup, the scallops, and the lamb tenderloin. We enjoyed four of the creative cocktails, but would have preferred more prompt delivery of these tasty beverages.

Wonderful that the menu is not a formulaic big chain production. The food is prepared locally and is usually quite tasty. Only complaint: the menu tends to be a bit limited, with very few fresh vegetables to accompany the meals.

Gradually ticking downward. Our first trip in a year ago was really strong.. The chef was young and creative and a visit later was still going strong.. We chatted her up and she said she was moving on. This restaurant is owned by Robert Wedimerer of the Mussle Bar chain.. He is an outstanding Chef.. My favorite DC chef.. His... More

We have visited Wildwood Kitchen on several occasions and have not been disappointed. We went in on Valentine's Day for lunch. The bar tender recommended a drink called a Cuzco, which has Pisco, grapefruit and lemon juices and amerol. Delicious. We also ordered a Pisco Sour to accompany. To eat, we split an avocado salad with ruby grapefruit, my wife... More

We recently had dinner there for the first time. It's a hidden gem! Located in a small shopping center, it's an outstanding restaurant. They offer about a dozen starters and 6-8 main courses. And if you get there before 6 PM, they offer a multi-course menu at a discounted price.

The staff was good. Everything else was a total disaster. We and the other couple eat out a lot but will never go here again Food way overpriced--$80.00fixed price. Was happy to pay before ate. For what we got WAY OVERPRICED! Food awful: pate ok nothing special and small. Soup funny taste Main meal 2 braised lamb shoulder-tasted like dog... More

My first visit to restaurant started off on bad vibe from GM who sneered at my seven minute late arrival for my reservation. He later commented to our table that he wished we would hurry up and settle our bill so he could free our table for other guests. Last he followed us out side the restaurant to accuse us... More

Three of us went to dinner and received excellent service in a pleasant atmosphere. The lamb meatballs and squash soup were both excellent. For main courses, the sea scallops stood out. It was better than expected for a strip mall place.

My husband and I had a post-movie dinner here last weekend. We arrived at 9:45 PM, and though the restaurant officially closes at 10:30, we never felt rushed. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the menu was nice and seasonal. I started with a wonderful roasted beet salad enhanced with greens and toasted almonds, and hubby had the yummy... More
