Excellent mussels! the restaurant is very nice, the service is good and you can also try other dishes. French fries and sweet potatoes are very good and they have a good selection of wines. The music is very loud.

Whenever I am in Bethesda, this is my go to restaurant. Their mussels are consistently great. With an raw oyster starter, a great meal. The bonus: The best sweet potato fries come withe the Mussels.

I took a large group of people who were at a conference at the 4H National Conference Center here for dinner. They graciously accommodated a group of 16 with individual checks and made sure we got back out the door in time for our evening meetings. Food was outstanding. Mussels were as good as anything we had in Brugge or... More

We didn't have the Mussels, but the food was delicious. They had a good selection of oysters and a special with Chesapeake Bay oysters at $1 each. Our choices ranged from duck breast, tuna and short ribs. All beautifully presented

We actually came here because all the other restaurants on Bethesda row had too long of a wait. So glad we did! This place has a lively atmosphere and our waiter was proof of that! He was quite a character. We had the lobster roll, mussels, braised short ribs (unbelievable), salmon, steak frites (sooo good), a flatbread and a prickly... More

Last time we were there on the weekend, it was too noisy to even think. We made reservations for a Thursday night and it was quieter and more enjoyable. Mussels were good as always. Thai Curry Mussels were nice and spicy. White Wine Mussels were also very good. Draft beer was excellent. A little pricey, but it is worth it... More

On the drag with lots of other choices, Mussels should be able to pull this off. It's a pretty simple concept. Somewhat overpriced for what it provides. The portions were fine and the mussels fresh but the taste was on the thin side. We both had mussels and salads. My Italian style came with red broth and ground meats. It... More

We had reservations for our party of 10+ on Friday night. We should have walked out as soon as we were seated because the noise level was way beyond painful. A member of our party asked if the music could be turned down, but to no avail. The mussels were fresh, but we could not wait to leave. I could not hear... More

Worth the trip. The mussels were fresh and delicious. The frites are definitely worth the add on with 3 dipping sauces. Ate inside and had a great server. Will return.

I gave a very good rating because the mussels and frites were excellent but the rest of the experience was lacking. We were seated fairly fast since we had a reservation then we sat for about 15 minutes before someone finally came by. They gave us the menues and brought water. The wine list is extensive but the by the... More
