The avocado toast with pulled pork appetizer was a big hit with me. Liked the different flavors pulled together. But their version of shrimps 'n grits missed the mark altogether. Thought it was too heavy on the tomato side; also a bit too soupy. Lenore,...More

We hadn't been to Grapeseed in a while and this visit was a winner for all in our group. From the appetizers polenta, oysters, sorrel soup and grilled ceasar salad to the main courses, scallops, seabass, steak and chicken everyone was impressed. The ingredients were...More

We were at Grapeseed for dinner and another time for a wine tasting. For the tasting, the wine was of interest but the food items were lackluster, insufficient and in some cases quite salty. We have been getting email announcements of various dinners and haven't...More

My husband and I had dinner during restaurant week. I had the calamari appetizer, the sunchoke soup, and the brick chicken with a glass of wine. My husband had the salmon. Everything was very tasty and our waitstaff was very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful...More

Grapeseed use to be better. We had a very mixed experience tonight. Restaurant week menu was good but most items had an upcharge. Food was quite good except for my rib-eye. It came out way over cooked. It was replaced with a new one cooked...More

Went to Grape Seed restaurant on one of the "restaurant week” evening, on January 29, 2016. Over all: Food was marginal; served in small portions, and nothing was special at all. The Server was polite. Special points - events: 1) An appetizer 'grilled Octopus': was...More

We reserved the wine room for my 50th birthday dinner. The food was good to very good, the service pretty good, but the ambiance was lacking. There was one measly candle on the table and inexpensive metal chairs. There is a food & beverage minimum...More

We have been to Grapeseed numerous times. It never disappoints. The food choices are eclectic, service is good (sometimes great) and its always feels slightly expensive. The tacos appetizers rock, entrees (chicken and sea food) are well prepared. Veggies choices are limited but good (even...More

Grapeseed used to be so good! I hadn't been there for a long time, but thought it might make a nice place for a birthday dinner. I remembered sophisticated food, nice ambiance and great wine. Well, the wine is still there, but that is about...More

Description
Grapeseed American Bistro is a casual bistro that matches great food and wine together. With anywhere from 80 to 100 wines by the glass and approximately 325 bottle listed, we cater to the novice wine lover and to the experienced. We start with a bottle of wine and pick out the characteristics and nuances of the wine and then award winning Chef Jeffrey Heineman creates a menu item to highlight the flavors of the wine. So come in and relax, have a taste or a glass of wine and try something on our ever-changing menu.
