Great restaurant. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service! We will definitely be back.

Delicious food and good music! The bartenders were fabulous. We had a party of 6 and he remembered each one of our cocktails on our second round!

Food is excellent! Bartenders unfortunately seemed a bit preoccupied chatting with one another rather than filling drink orders, delaying the rest of the wait staff who were very attentive. Watched kitchen manager scold our server. Suggesting that he encourage the staff to provide a positive...experience. Comfortable servers invite a comfortable dining experience. Supervisor continued to do this with a group after we were done eating. The restaurant is busy, food is excellent, help to keep it an inviting place so your customers will return. Terrific food is a passion and an experience.More

A night out with friends. I am glad that we made a reservation, else we would not have gotten a table at a decent hour. This is primarily a steak and chop house with a nod to non-meat eaters and a wink to vegetarians. This...is really the only reason I did not rate this 5 stars. My wife had a dinner omelet, good and interesting. My Ahi tuna was rare as a seared tuna should be. One friend had the veggie burger, a large burger with a high-domed bun. Our other friend had a steak that was very nice. The caesar salad was nothing special. The sides otherwise were nicely prepared. Portions tend to the large side. Prices are reasonable. The ambience is very nice, upscale, dark wood, white tablecloths. The wine list is extensive. The sound level is high. Live jazz is an attraction. This is not the place for young children. The only reason that I would not return is that I eat fish or vegetarian, and there is nothing more on the menu that I would want to eat. For meat eaters, this is a very nice place.More

On Friday January 3rd 2020 my Fam & I just left from my nieces Funeral. Which was an Unexpected and Deverstating experience. 💔😪 We had plans to Celebrate my son inlaw pomotion on his job along with a daughter engagement during the holiday season. My...family decided on Woodmont Grill to gather and just fellowship with each other. After going through a Tragic period of losing a Beautiful Love one. We enter the Restaurant thinking about clearing our minds for at least a brief moment. The greeter STANDING at the hostess booth was the GE of the Restaurant. We were told the wait time for our party, would be around (3) three hours?? In a wisper tone??🙄 So we all decided to split up, in hope to be seated with in an hour. We were informed that would not be possible, due to the party was too large and we had been already checked in. We all were Very Confused and asked, which of the group members had given a name?? The greeter could not provide anyone by name. My family visit Woodmont Grill at least (1) once a month, and been told when calling for a Large party, we can not make reservations. I asked, could my husband and I have a table for (2) two? The GE informed me that the Restaurant would NOT be able to serves my request due to a large party request. I asked the young lady, what name had I given to be seated? I was told again, that the Restaurant would NOT be able to serve my Family. At this point I know my family and I have been through a Tramatic week and a half. However, I could not process what was going on in this moment. Another África American Woman who was standing over to the left side of the Restaurant walked over to my daughter and I. She politely asked what was said to our family? She explain to us that, she was waiting to be seated with a Group of (6) six and the GE also gave their party a outragess time for the wait. She also brought to my attention that, her party had surveyed the Restaurant and notice. The place has (1) one table with a couple of Color inside the Whole facility. The Young Lady asked to be Removed from the waiting list because she was REFUSING to spend her MONEY where she was not wanted. She asked for my family information to be incontact, due to she would be going to the MEDIA. She also invited my family to join their party for a family member birthday celebration. This was the members request to Celebrate at Woodmont Grill. I know for myself and my husband. We will NEVER go into this Restaurant again in Life. 🤨🤔😱More

I never thought I would be writing a negative review about the Woodmont Grill because it is one on my favorite restaurants in the area. I am writing with the hope my constructive criticism will be helpful to the staff as I know they take...pride in the food and service at the Woodmont Grill. I am hopeful tonight was just an off night. From the time we were sat, which was almost 20 minutes past our reservation, nobody apologized or offered us a drink. Usually the host takes a drink order or brings ice cold water. This did not happen. Our waitress took our appetizer order. We had four people in our party. We ordered two sushi dishes and the spinach dip. When the dip arrived the server was having trouble balancing the plate. The dip was warm but not hot. The server was using his hands to push the falling chips back on the plate. Not very appetizing. About 12 chips adorned the plate. We had a lot of dip and salsa left and had to ask for more chips. Also, the warm hand towels which are brought to the table before sushi service never arrived and the coconut shrimp sushi was served with only one of the two creamy dipping sauces on the plate. We had to ask for more water a couple of times and we had to hand dirty appetizer dishes to a passing employee. When we ordered our dinners we asked for extra ketchup and oil and vinegar for a salad. None of these items were served when our food arrived and we had to ask again. We finally got one very small ketchup in a little silver cup for 4 people to share. Our fries were already cold at that point. Usually our server would bring an ice tea or soft drink refill, or at least ask if we wanted more. Tonight we had to ask. The servers are usually top notch at Woodmont but tonight our server seemed annoyed, irritated and uninterested in our party. One positive moment I must share was a manger came to our table to check with our friend who has a food allergy. We appreciated his concern and attention to detail. Overall, tonight’s food and service severely missed the mark. We left disappointed. We will be back and we hope the excellent food and service we have come to count on at Woodmont Grill will be back in full force.More

My friends I visited on our way back from Philadelphia on Sunday Afternoon. The atmosphere was pleasant and the hostess was able to seat our party of 6 at 2 tables next to each other. Our waitress was descent and our food was amazing! I...had the Hawaiian Rib Eye and it was very tasty. I had it prepared to a medium well and although it was very tasty it could have been a little more tender. All in all, good meal but, for the price ehhhhh.More

Fabulous experience at the Woodmont Grill. The Manager, Mark C. strives to ensure the wait staff works together as a team to ensure all dining patrons have the best experience, not only with service, but the food was tremendous as well.

If you like bland, overpriced, fattening american cuisine, this is your place. Forget having a conversation over dinner, the noise level is off the charts.

Stopped in for lunch. Restaurant was packed but hostess still managed to get a table cleared & set quickly. Polite & attentive service. Food well prepared. Maybe a smaller head on my beer next time;-)

It is a 6 min walk from the Bethesda metro stop (0.3 miles). They do have free parking if you drive. There is also public parking across the street for a fee.

After 50 years of trying, I believe it's impossible to get a great meal with good service on NYE anywhere. So we eat out on the 30th and enjoy a safe and delicious dinner at home on the 31st. With that said, I hope you can... More
