We were so looking forward to enjoying another annual visit to Luke's Lobster in Bethesda (since we live 800 miles away). This afternoon's lobster rolls were a bit of a letdown. While there was plenty of lobster meat on our toasted rolls, it seemed much mushier - as if it had been soaked in water for quite a while. We... More

My daughter treated us and brought home Luke's lobsters rolls. It was amazing! Hold the mayo, just butter and the buttered bun. Glad to be a part of the happy crowd! Won't disapoint!

I had the lobster roll with slaw and chowder. All were excellent. Slaw is made with vinaigrette which I prefer. The lobster was very tender so was the bun. The soup was not too meaty but very good. Very casual and small place. But the food is excellent

Luke´s lobster is a diner that serves lobster, crab and shrimp rolls. On the side you get Crab Claws. Chips and soda/beer to go with the rolls. One of my clear favorites for a quick lunch in Bethesda.

While strolling around Bethesda checking out the shops while on vacation we just happened to walk by. My friend walked in just to grab a menu and walked right back out and said 'holy moly you have to walk in here' so we did....and we instantly hit with the amazing smell of lobster bisque. The menu is simple, lobster rolls,... More

I go here sometimes when visiting the area--it's really the best lobster roll around the dc metro area, but having lived briefly in Boston it's just so-so. And terribly overpriced ! I don't know how the customers afford it- Great bisque and friendly service .

We're from Boston and love cold water Maine lobster. Luke's is traditional Boston lobster salad - very little mayo and light seasoning. Best in DC by far and a fair price for this delicacy

I just had dinner at Luke's. Not having ready access to seafood, especially lobster, on a routine basis, this was an easy choice. Luke's is very casual with counter service and indoor/outdoor seating. I ordered the Taste of Maine, which includes 1/2 lobster roll, shrimp roll, and crab roll plus 3 crab claws, cole slaw, and a drink. My food... More

Fantastic Lobster Roll, honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Very small for price though. Lobster Bisque "wasn't warm" at 2:30pm, so it had to be warmed/cooked for 10-15 minutes. People at other table were also waiting, and no one was happy. But, soup was very good. A little gritty, but great flavor. 1 sandwich, 2 soups,... More

We love stopping at Luke's in Bethesda (and Georgetown and Penn Quarter). When missing Maine or simply wanting a good lobster roll, Luke's is the place. Shrimp and crab rolls also very good. Lobster grilled cheese was terrific.
