First visit was for Christmas dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. Wine list and stock were not in sync, but the bottle we ordered was sublime. Charcuterie offered a brief transport to a Paris bistro. Osso bucco was fork tender and flavorful, lamb stew hearty and rustic. Bùche Nöel among the... read more

Following the disengagement if the owner and departure of the chef the place keeps going down in friendliness, service and food quality. The lady greeting customers is grumpy and sometimes rude, several times until we stopped coming the food was poor and sometimes undercooked, and the service in bakery is just not there. We used to come here twice or... More

Exquisite French pastries, quiches and macarones. Their swan shaped meringues, napoleons and cocoa dusted "urchin" cake are show stoppers. The bistro upstairs is also very good. Coffee is just OK. Compare to "Paul" patisserie or the Poupon in Georgetown.

This yummy little spot is in the office building where I work. Their Lemon Drop cookies offer your taste buds a deliciously fresh treat. The freshly made sandwiches are a hit too. My favorite is the Chicken Salad on fresh crusty French bread. Unfortunately, other enjoy it as well. It mystifies my why they don't make more of these sandwiches... More

We had four excellent meals: 2 hanger steaks, 1 duck, and one seafood entree. All were outstanding as was the Octavia Chardonnay. The desserts were great also creme brulle and two others. Also excellent French bread. Just a fine meal and we will return often.

My parents have lived in condos adjacent to Pralines for years and I have been there numerous times with them over the past 15 years. I suspect the older population living nearby is their true bread and butter and the staff treat the locals very well, greeting them like family and accommodating them however they can. That being said the... More

I was much more happier "before" with a classic, solid, french cuisine that now with this "change", a change is supposed to improve something, isn't it? Anyway a bad day may arrive to everybody (once), this is why I give 2 stars today and not 1. All in all I think that the duck breast should be canceled from the... More

In summer, Praline has a very nice terrace on top of the building. With his good french traditional plates and wine, having lunch in Praline is a very pleasant experience.

Although I have been to Praline a few times for lunch and have bought many goodies from the bakery, I had not been there for dinner. Three of us dined here on a recent summer night, and we all enjoyed the experience. Our server, Andres, was attentive and helpful with directing us to specific menu options based on our questions.... I've eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. As for the food, I wasn't overly fond of my chicken pot pie. I'd order something different next time. Only one of us really raved about their food (the quenelles). Small martinis, good wine list. The night we were there, wine was 25% off by the bottle. That evening the restaurant... More
