One of the best places I’ve eaten on Bel air. Great taste like homemade style . Staff is great and friendly, good service, good menu.

I picked up one of my favorite dishes - Chana Masala and a few vegetarian samosas on my way home from a doctor's appointment, and I'm so glad I did. I have not had good Indian food since I left Virginia. It was delicious, and the service was prompt and courteous.

Hot and sour soup was watery and tasteless. Chicken curry was a cheaply made tomato sauce with barely any spices in it. I specifically asked for spicy and got mild tasteless curry. My guess had Mullivatawny which was also watery and tasteless. There are better Indian choices close by which are way more authentic and taste much better. This place is it good. I will not return to be insulted with this bad qaukitt. Even after I told them I wasn't satisfied they waiter just shrugged it off and went about his business. Bad customer service. Not happy

Sizzling Bombay has a wide variety of Indian cuisine to choose from, including a vegan menu. The service is excellent and the prices are affordable. The restaurant also features a live belly dancer weekly. My wife and I will continue to patronize this fine establishment.

My partner brought me here for a change of pace. Unfortunately the buffet was nearly empty when we arrived after 1 pm and was not going to be restocked. What was available was quite good. Never got a chance to sample everything. Will try again earlier to get another opinion. The staff was very friendly, clean table.

The true key to enjoying Sizzling Bombay is to go for customized dinner instead of buffet lunch. Lunch out of the necessity of catering to the general public is made as bland as possible. But at dinner time, a request can be made for extra spicy level as Indian cuisine was meant to be eaten. We went for an impromptu dinner and ordered Chili Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice. We specified that we want extra hot spicy level (level 20 on a scale from 0 to 10 with 10 being the highest). The chef did not disappoint and delivered Indian food as should be eaten in all its spicy glory! It was as if the chef was freed from the Bland-Play-It-Safe Food Police and was allow to express himself freely. Trust me as a native Indian I know what Indian food should taste like. By the way, the vegetarian dishes ordered by wife were decent as well (pictured here). Avoid the samosa as it is a microwave reheat of a frozen one.

Sizzling Bombay has been around for quite some time, so they must be doing something right. They have maintained a colorful and tastefully decorated dining area and properly seasoned food. There is a wide variety of meat, fish and vegetable dishes from across the sub continent. For an appetizer I chose the aloo tiki with chola which were delicious potato cakes surrounded by chickpeas in sauce. The cakes were nice and crispy on the outside. I also ordered a kidney bean salad with tangy house dressing on the side and some garlic naan. The main dish of goat Vindaloo was seasoned to request, which in my case was 8 on the scale of 10. The meat fell off the bone and was topped with ginger strips. For dessert, the home made cardamom kulfi was cool and refreshing. Service was welcoming, prompt and attentive. So happy I had skipped lunch and left room for this enjoyable dinner.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and used door dash to deliver. Everything was excellent. The veggie samosa and meat samosa were great, as were the accompanying sauces. The veggie pakoras were also very good. The veggie entrees were prepared mild as we wanted which sometimes doesn't get through to a restaurant's kitchen. The chana masala and the palak paneer were very good, the spinach actually being small pieces instead of pureed. The naan was large and moist and well-prepared. This is probably going to be our go to hotel on our annual trek and we'll definitely be ordering from here whenever we stay here.

Sizzling Bombay is located near our place of residence, it is our go-to Indian spot for BEST tasting Indian cuisine! Even if I lived 30-40 mins away I’d still make the drive there because it tastes that good! Authenticity at its finest! Unlike other places they take FRESH ingredients and chop up and cook to perfection! I’m in love with their Chickej Tikka Marsala as my wife is too!!! It’s a great eat and please stop in if your tastes buds are craving the BEST Indian food that Maryland has to offer! I recommend their Chicken Tikka Marsala, yummy! Enjoy!

Great food, awesome hospitality and very friendly owners! If you love Indian food and living around Bel Air and near by, i would highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed. A must not food to taste here is the Sizzling Kebab Platter and the Vindaloo. Also they offer Gluten Free and Vegan food along with kids menu!
Big thumbs up for this place.

This restaurant is a frequent stop for us on our trips between Philly or NY and DC. Just a short ways off I-95, the food is well worth the stop. Classic Indian, but not too spicy, with choices from several local cuisines. Some vegetarian, too, of course. We've found the menu selections to be better than the buffet. Service has always been fine, even at busy times.

Myself and a coworker ate here for lunch one day and tried the lunch buffet. Although it was a smaller food selection, the taste was very good. I would come here again.
