I wasn't blown away by the food. It was like average Indian food and nothing really stood out. The service was very good though.

Really, the first time we've gone to an Indian restaurant. The place was Indian in decor and kind of dim. We both said, nearly simultaneously, that it was quite clean! The beer and wine prices were good--house wine $5.99 and Indian beer for $5. Complimentary crackers came with three chutneys or sauces. The crackers tasted odd to us after a... More
I have been visiting this places for years now. I make sure I visit them each time I am in that area. The staff has changed a few times in the past years but the food quality is maintained pretty well.
This used to be our “go-to” place for flavorful, spicy and hot Indian food but at our last visit, all the food was tasteless, bland and boring. Sometimes it is hard to describe how bland a dish can be but I never tasted a Chicken Tikka Masala that had no taste, and the chicken was overcooked and dry. The... More
I've been going to this restaurant for many years, through many owners and noticed that the food has been getting worse and worse. Today was the last time I'll go there. I went for the lunch buffet and was shocked that there wasn't a thing there that was edible. The pakoras were soggy, the rice was dry, the rest of... More
Superior and authentic Northern Indian dishes, served family style. Spiced to your preferences and exceptionally tasty and freshly picked and aromatic spices make for a wonderful and memorable meal. Authentic belly dancer comes in every Friday evening around 7 to 7:30 pm. Daily lunch buffet is excellent!
Went with a group of friends, most were new to Indian food. When it comes to Indian food I prefer my own to any restaurant. That said, it was pretty good. What they call pakora I would call something else, but that much regional variation is par for the course.
Ordered four carry out meals for $66 and although the flavor was good, they only give about a grand total of 2-3 oz. of chicken or seafood per meal, and at $12.99-$18.99 per meal, it's a huge disappointment. Will not visit again... India garden is much better
Went there for a Thursday lunch buffet on our way back to NY from DC. Buffet spread was limited but food was delicious !! Mushroom mutter, Dal, Saag vegetables, kheer were all good. Naan was soft and was replenished quickly upon request. And the prices are very reasonable. Two adults and two kids for buffet costed us $32 without tips.... More
