Fine dining with a view of the sea and a quiet green park. Well away from the busy beach scene. Best for couples and adult friends. Same menu in the restaurant upstairs and the pub downstairs. Try the Chapman House for dinner, different menu.

This is a comfortable old Inn on the heights above the York River. The menu leans to seafood which is not surprising. I very much liked the fresh Duxbury Oysters that were as good as any I've had. The other menu items fell into the very tasty but unremarkable. The Lobster Thermidor was fine.

We were in York Harbor for a month and ate at the "cellar bar" a few times. It has been remodeled to resemble a large wooden yacht's interior - very cool! The bar itself is a long, beautifully finished wooden structure and the back bar is like stowage on a boat. The bar service can be a bit erratic, but... More

Top notch dining. Got late reservation for water view. Food was excellent, but service slow especially late in the evening waitress seemed to lose interest. We'd go back.

I have visited this area regularly for over a decade and never thought about going to this pub, which is located in a charming inn, for a meal. The decor is very cool.. Like the inside of a sailing ship. However, the lobster rolls are to die for..a real shock for me since this also has the distinction of being... More

We always stop for dinner at the York Harbor Inn when we visit Ogunquit Playhouse. The food is very good and most of the time we eat from the early bird menu, ordering before 6pm. It is a 3 course meal with salad, main dish and desert. They also have a good wine list. The service is great too and... More

We always look forward to eating here whenever we visit Maine and our visit this week did not disappoint ( and we will be going back before we head home). Food here is always good, as is the service. The lobster corn chowder is absolutely delicious as is the beet and arugula salad. Four of us had different entrees that... More

A couple years ago I was at this location for a meeting. I am so glad our group decided to meet here again. About an hour north of Boston, just south of Ogunquit, it is a really nice location. It is great for early morning walks to the beach. Love the location, the setup --- one should never miss an... More

Had such a lovely day n York and there was still holiday traffic. We were fortunate enough to get a room last minute. The continental breakfast the next morning was perfect. This is our go to place, as there is lots of history, off street parking and its walkable to the beach. Love it here!!
