We are very pleased with this place. We called ahead for cooked lobsters and were almost ready when we arrived at our selected time. It was cool that they will cook them right there in salt water. Packed right away in a bag, we put in a cooler bag and was still super hot when we got home 30 minutes later. I would recommend this place and will be back for sure!

Off the Boat Lobster is just exactly what it's name says. The lobsters are off the boat. This place is family owned and they will sell you lobsters for cash. They had a special the day I went. It was a baker's dozen for 99.00 or 106 cooked. OMG I love this place. The people are great. The person who runs it looks to be about 20. She was efficient and demonstrated a work ethic that is rarely seen in the food industry today at any age! I love supporting family owned businesses and this one in particular is great. All the staff actually worked cooking, pulling in lobsters, taking them off the boat! They were well informed and helpful too. NOTHING beats a lobster right off the boat and a baker's dozen of chickens for 106 cooked is a steal! You cannot eat them there but when I was younger I took them to the rocks on Nubble Light and ate them there. Or you could take them home. They were so hot that after over and hour ride I still could not pick them up. THAT IS FRESH. I mentioned in another review how I had gone to Morrison's in Kittery and it was a horror show all around staff, and food. Clearly this place knows how to cook them and also how to treat their patrons. They also do not charge 31.00 a lb for them either. This is one of those places I want to keep for myself but it is well known by the locals. They even take orders without a credit card!! Is this lobster heaven? Pretty close.

This is a great place to buy the freshest lobsters, oysters, and sea scallops in York. The team that work the ‘store’ are usually college-bound and always super friendly and helpful. We generally buy the lobsters live and then cook them at home, but you can also have them cooked right there on the dock too. Great spot.

Got a bakers dozen of lobsters from them for dinner one night with the family. They were ready for pick up when promised and were perfectly steamed. Parking there was a little interesting as the lot is small and it was busy. Got dropped off, picked up my lobsters and got picked up again. Worked fine. Lobsters were sweet and we all enjoyed a great lobster feast.

Super friendly staff that were helpful answering questions for a newbie ordering live lobster off the dock. Great prices on a ton of fresh seafood. Plus, you can have your lobsters steamed there, which may be the best plan for a future trip!

This place was recommended by another business owner in the area and we were not disappointed! The two young ladies who helped us were very friendly and made our wait for the lobsters we got, that much more enjoyable! The lobsters themselves were amazing and almost half the price that we would have paid in a restaurant! They were even nice enough to recommend a spot to have a picnic and when we realized that we had nothing to crack the lobsters with, they gave us a cracker that someone had left them. It was just great experience, start to finish! Highly recommend.

Order your lobsters cooked or fresh/live. Always reasonable, always good service. We order ahead of time for our cookouts and gatherings. Always satisfied.

What a Gem, We came for fresh Lobster and were not disappointed . We were met by 2 Young hard working very friendly staff members, They were very helpful and provided great customer service. We order 3 lobster and they steamed them for us in no time. The prices are very reasonable and they are fresh right off the boat as the name suggests. Do miss out, you must stop there, Cash only

Family tradition to order these guys in the morning and pick up for dinner.
The boats literally drop off their catch to the dock in the late afternoon and they go right into the boiling water just in time for your on-time pick up.
Pretty much know them all even though it's typically teenagers running a well-oiled machine. We placed the pickup for 6:30 PM in the morning and they were taken out of the pots at 6:32, placed in a paper bag and then plastic bag and ready to eat at around $10 a pound.
You CANNOT beat this anywhere in the world. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny.
**You don't have to have them cook and the cook fee is minimal and well worth it**

Another must visit when in York. Call ahead and they will have your lobsters cooked so yummy. Also the steamers are the best I have ever had.

Going strong for 4- 5 years +. Very reliable and friendly source for fairly priced lobster. Good hours of operation. Lobsters can be picked up fresh or cooked. Cooking is always completed on time for pre arranged pick up.

I wanted my husband to eat lobster fresh out of the pot without the butter and fuss of a restaurant dinner. Heard about this spot on TripAdvisor and knew we had to give it a try. The young guy was really helpful and super sweet. We ordered 4 chix cooked for us and we waited about 10 min. He wrapped up our lunch and directed us to a little park area with picnic tables not far away at the York Town Dock. We highly recommend doing this next season when you pass through, but bring lots of napkins, wet wipes or hand sanitizer and maybe a lobster bib...lol. The area was beautiful and not busy. We ate our 4 lobsters al fresco, cleaned up our mess and tossed trash in the nearby dumpster. It was the best and most memorable meal. The lobster was so sweet, tender and delicious. Even the claw meat wasn't chalky and dry. Highly recommend!

We have used these folks for all of our functions with their steamers and lobsters....the steamers are ALWAYS clean and when cooked, delicious. The lobsters, first rate and fairly priced; ask if theyhave the Bakers Dozen special....worth every penny. The people that work there are very friendly and courteous....and they cook your lobsters as well if you want that....they do not do the steamers....all in all, you cannot beat them.
