We drove to Maine, so we could eat Maine lobster overlooking the ocean, which we did. This place was recommended ad a down & dirty seafood place, whatever that means. It's not a fancy place, which means no inflated prices! we got huge lobsters, monster baked potatoes, corn on the cob, bread and tea for around sixty dollar. Excellent service.... More

We were in York, Maine and went to the Lobster Cove for dinner. We had their twin lobster which was EXCELLENT. We also had a bowl of clam chowder which was loaded with clams. It was so good, we went back the next day and once again, had the twin lobsters but this time we had the French onion soup,... More

I had my first lobster today. Drove all the way to Maine just to have it. And it was delicious. My husband had the lobster roll and he liked it very much

We went there 3 times in 2 days, once for dinner, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The lobster Bisque is fantastic! Our dinner was feet however the stuffed haddock was only just warm. We did come in close to closing though and they may have been push us along. Our server "Stacy" was very nice especially since you... More

Lobster Cove came as a suggestion from one of the locals. The food was average, at best. The fried mushrooms were soggy with grease! The lobster bisque was just okay. This place is in need of an update as well. I won't go back, unfortunately.

Food was good, service was lacking. Had breakfast there with a voucher from a local hotel. We walked in and were unsure of where to go and the employees just stood there and looked at us. Only when I asked did they direct us where to go. Then after ordering, it took a long time to get our food. Guests... More

We were driving along the ocean. Stopped at Lobster Cove for a quick lunch. Had lobster roll. Very Good. After spending the day driving and walking along beaches and in town we came back to Lobster Cove for dinner. Ate outside on patio and enjoyed the sunset. My husband ordered and ate lobster. First time eating and thoroughly enjoyed. Prices... More

We had spent 4 days in Maine and this was the first place that we found that had fried clams. We ordered both the fried whole clams and the clam strips. Both were excellent and got a very large serving including French friew

Our family always stays at a suite at the Anchorage Inn and dinner at the Lobster Cove. My Mom was ill and the waitress packaged onion soup, ginger ale and crackers. Thanks for top notch service and the best twin lobsters with a view!!

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch with a view of the ocean and the Nubble Lighthouse. The food was tasty and plentiful. The steamers were well cleaned and had very little grit remaining, always a bonus. The parking lot is extra cozy, so you might want to park on the street if your car is large (or even mid-sized).
