It was a great dining experience at the Lobster Cove. The Lobster Pie was succulent and perfectly prepared. It was recommended to me by a colleague, didn't believe her until my recent trip to the Lobster Cove. You will not be disappointed, make sure when visit York, the Lobster Cove is in your itinerary.

We both were hooked on the red snapper special but as we watched the other meals arrive around us we kept second guessing our choice they all were looking plentiful and great looking meals Depending on your timing you may be lucky enough to get a great view of cape neddick light from your table but even if you don't... I vacationed "off season" and this was one of the few restaurants open. It was very busy, because of that, but not full. I waited for a long time to be seated. It seemed they were not "prepared" for how busy it was and it will only get busier as the season progresses. My waitress was courteous but not pleasant.... More

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it has been busy, we are seasonal and many of our staff members are students so we are not fully staffed until they are home for the summer. So don't fret, as the season gears up, so will our staff! More

Stopped in on the way back from Nubble Lighthouse (must see), and the view of the ocean from the bar seating area was outstanding. Good service, a bit slow but they were busy, and the food was excellent. They have plenty of seafood, but also beef and chicken. The lobster Mac & cheese looked great, I had the chicken pot... More

We had dinner here on a Saturday night and though they were very busy, we were seated and taken care of very quickly, efficiently and with care. My husband does not like seafood or fish very much so he had the prime rib and it came exactly to his liking. I had the haddock and that was very nicely done... More

Stopped in for breakfast. Slow service in an uncrowded restaurant. Overcooked omelet (Broccoli, mushroom and cheese). Muffin mix blueberry muffin. Coffee was good but the creamer was dirty. 3 dark brown spots dirty. Waitress removed it without comment. Nice view of the ocean (If you're not hungry).

When you are in Maine you have to eat lobster. Lobster Cove is a great little place to accomplish this mission. It is a quaint place with a great atmosphere and stellar views of the ocean. Can't go wrong stopping in!

Went with large group for lunch. Twin lobster special was verry good, the butternut squash excellent. We wer seated by the door and watched at least 4 parties leave prior to being seated due to the wait, there were several empty tables. We overheard a staff member saying there was only 1 waitress for the downstairs waiting room. That 1... More

Sorry to hear about the delayed service. We are at the time of year that staff is slim, being seasonal, we rely on college students to staff the restaurant and they are not yet available. Thank you for your patience! More
