I have eaten at the Lobster Cove on a number of occasions and had delicious meals every time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is served hot and in a timely manner.

We had breakfast on our way out of Maine. The service was fast, and the meal was delicious, and the view could not be beaten. The restaurant sits directly across from Long Sands Beach in York Maine.

2nd time here. 2nd time we left saying eh. The first time they were out of fried clams strips. Today the soup was warm. Not close to being hot. She asked if we needed it heated more, but we just felt it should have come out hot. However, the clam strips today were great.

Now we received a nice free breakfast each morning from staying at the Sunrise Motel! My hubby is a total breakfast kind of guy so for him it was pure bliss! If we're ever in this part of Maine again, we'll have another meal at Lobster Cove. The boiled lobster was perfectly cooked and wonderful, the fried clam strips were very good and the dinner salad was extremely tasty. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant offers ample parking (at least in early March!) and a pretty ocean view.... More

I've never been to Maine, never tried Maine lobster... and we LUCKED OUT pulling up at Lobster Cove just when hunger struck. It was late February, well off-season, so we didn't expect much. We were greeted by a friendly waitress, seated at a table with a view in a clean, well-lit place. One of us had the straight-up lobster dinner,... More

Second time going to the Lobster Cove off season for their lobster roll. Perfect grilled bun, very light on the mayo, clearly fresh lobster meat in nice big chunks. I could do without the small amount of shredded lettuce they add, but that is my personal preference. They were wonderful at accommodating our group of 7 on a Saturday night.... More

This was my second visit and out of season. The lobster was excellent and service continues to be superb. Wine selection is quite limited, but there was some choice. Highly recommended for great, fresh Maine lobster.
