Hotter than blazes when we visited, but it was a delicious lobster roll! Outdoor seating and it's next to a highway. We grabbed the last lobster roll of our Lobster weekend there!

We had excellent lobster rolls and terrific fries! The view was nice, but the food was great- and not as expensive as most places?

The outdoor seating looking over the grasslands is spectacular. When we got our food I found my fried clams to be nasty, as though they had not been cleaned. All of our lobster rolls were good, and that is the reason we came.

Take out place on Route 1, good place to stop if you're heading north on the way to Freeport. Picnic tables in the back and also seems to be dog-friendly. Feel free to bring your own beer, they don't mind. They do offer steamed/boiled lobsters but the lobster roll or crabmeat roll is the thing to order. We paid $27... More

In business since 1923 and known for its lobster and crab sold next door, Days Takeout is a quintessential Maine roadside eatery where you don't need to be dressed for the occassion. The formula is simple. Choose something boiled (lobster) or fried (fish, clams, etc.) from the extensive menu, pay at the counter and get a number, and then wait... More

Arrived at 1045am and there were only two people eating, by 1130am on a Friday it filled up with most tables taken. We ordered the single lobster dinner, clam chowder, crab cake, and a crabmeat roll. By far and away the crabmeat roll was the best - sweet, juicy and fresh on a buttery toasted bread slice, light and much... More

I've been coming here since I grew up down the road in Cumberland. The crabmeat rolls and lobster rolls are still the best around! Nothing fancy here, just good ole Maine standards. You can't beat the steamers here as well as my favorite, fried clams. You will not be disappointed if you love this kind of food and atmosphere!

The summer vacationer traveling through Freeport Maine will find Dsy's on Route 1 just about 1/4 mile south of the Big Indian ( landmark before you get to the home of L. L. Bean. Good for fried seafood on picnic benches overlooking a tidal river. There is a walk-up window but no indoor seating. This is truly a seasonal place.... More

The largest and hugest clams I have had in years. Cooked authentically with real butter and brine. Lovely afternoon overlooking marshy area. Kids enjoyed fried shrimp

We'd had a very poor experience at another nearby lobster establishment and decided to return to Days for our next lobster craving. We visited last Sunday evening with two dogs and were very pleased with the service, politeness of the staff and food. We sat at a picnic table and the dogs enjoyed the grass and we all enjoyed the... More
