The largest and hugest clams I have had in years. Cooked authentically with real butter and brine. Lovely afternoon overlooking marshy area. Kids enjoyed fried shrimp

We'd had a very poor experience at another nearby lobster establishment and decided to return to Days for our next lobster craving. We visited last Sunday evening with two dogs and were very pleased with the service, politeness of the staff and food. We sat at a picnic table and the dogs enjoyed the grass and we all enjoyed the... More

Nothing fancy here, stand in line outside, eat at a picnic table near the highway but face the water and you know you're in Maine! Big portions, always fresh and reasonably priced.

Located just outside Freeport on Route 1. Crazy busy and a little hairy to find parking and get off highway - but so worth it. We had the scallops, haddock and crab roll. All were so fresh and delicious. You can order take away or eat on picnic tables there. You look out over water or mud depending on the... More

After a visit in Freeport we were just looking to get away from the sterile, no personality food of outlet land. We decided to just cruise down Rt 1 to look for local eats and, luckily, found Day's. Amazing food at reasonable prices with picnic table seating behind the restaurant, away from the road noise.

Per my friend, the crabmeat roll was a 5 so if you enjoy seafood this would be a great road side stop. However; if anyone in your party is landlubber like me, make sure you stop at a sandwich shop and pick something up beforehand. The only choice is a hotdog and a red hotdog at that. I wasn't a... We've been visiting Day's for many years. Their crabmeat is always fresh and delicious. We stopped by last week and enjoyed our crab rolls. Service is fast and friendly. There is outdoor seating with a nice view.

Not fancy, you walk up to the window and place your order. Sit out back till they call your name, food is served in cardboard containers. Terrific lobster rolls, and wonderful fried scallops. Sit out back to eat or take home. Not cheap, but worth the money.

I've passed this stand a few times as I drove between Bangor and Portland but never had time to stop before today. I just needed something quick and light so I ordered a lobster roll. It came with a dill pickle. While it isn't the very best lobster roll I've ever had (I'm looking at you Eagle's Nest) it was... More

I have seen this place for years as I've driven on I295. I had the chance to check it out for myself. I ordered the lobster roll and a combination Maine shrimp/haddock dinner. Paid $32+ for this. Boy, way I disappointed! The lobster roll had very little meat on it and it wasn't the normal sweet lobster. The dinner was... More
