We found LVB via Google search as we were staying in Boothbay Harbor. Food, service and ambiance deliver a harmonious dining experience. We were so impressed and happy with our dinner, we went back a second evening because we just had to. During our first...visit, I made an outside table reservation, but the weather was cool so we asked if we could move inside and we were able to do so. The wild mushroom, calamari (best I've ever had in over 50 years), antipasti, kale and arugula salad, steak, swordfish, bolognaise, and duck breast were all perfect. The flourless torte was excellent enough so that we didn't have to try anything else on the desert menu. Chelsea waiting on us both nights (the second by request) and her attentiveness to detail is what makes dining out an experience. Anyone can bring you a plate of food, but she created the evening both nights we were there. We learned through her that the Chef is self-taught. As a past restaurateur, this is what we aspire to in life. Thank you Tony, Chelsea and the gang for two fabulous evenings!More

My husband and I have been trying to do mostly take out to keep our exposure to COVId as low as possible. We also like to support local businesses. So This week while we are in the Wiscasset/ Damarascotta area. We have tried several area...restaurants which have been good , but tonight’s meal from little village bistro was by far the best of all. We got a couple of appetizers to share ... the caprese garlic bread was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The combo of flavors and textures melded perfectly together . You could see and taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients . The lobster stew was a perfect balance of broth and lobster meat, with a melt -in-your-mouth taste. Our entrees were equally impressive. Chicken picatta and duck breast with well suited sides that complimented the tastes of the plate. Save room for dessert ! The blueberry tart is not to be missed . The also have to mention the fresh bread . They are ferrous with portions and it about as fresh as you can get. I cannot wait to go back! Best restaurant in the area In My opinion. Ps. We ordered online for pick up which was easy and convenient!More

My wife and I visited this little gem based on reviews, and the reviews were reliable. I'll start at the beginning... the bar tender is creative and skilled. She was capable of crafting original cocktails and still had knowledge of old standards, which seems to...be rare in popular places these days. We began with the roasted beet appetizer with toasted pine nuts and goat cheese. Delicious and well crafted! My wife had the seafood risotto, while I had Cioppino. What shined with both dishes is that fact that all of the different seafoods were perfectly cooked, which means they had to be cooked separately., which most places don't bother to do. In other words, scallops, shrimp, clams and haddock all have different amounts of cook time for their optimum flavor and texture to be achieved. At Little Village Bistro, they make the effort to do this. Amy, our waitress was outstanding. Wiscasset has a gem. We recommend it without hesitation.More

Our second dinner here. Very nice! Service is exellent and creme brulee maybe the best I ever had! Todays risotto was kind of runny, not the kind of I have had ever before but flavors were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The food was superb - awesome sauce and chicken the way it should be cooked. The salads were fabulous. The martini's were excellent. The ambience - just lovely. Service was perfect. We will be regulars when in Maine...from June through November. Can't wait to return.More

We went here on a Wednesday night and we were lucky to get a reservation. This is a very popular place and we found out why. They seem to do everything right. The atmosphere is cozy and nice, the drinks are great, the food is...excellent and the service is very good. I had the kale salad and it was the best kale salad I have ever had, maybe the best salad I have ever had. The chicken saltimbocca was also delicious. And the prices are very reasonable. We will be back in Maine this summer and we were advised to make our reservations well in advance – we will.More

Worth the effort but reservation a must as restaurant small with limited bar seating. Waitress Chelsea a sweatheart! We'd revisit. O yes good craft beer selection.

We had an excellent dinner with great food and service. The chef apologized, with two free deserts, for a slow delivery of our entrees but we were unaware of any delay. Both meals were delicious.

We do have a small bar which does work perfectly for early arrivals, but, as I said, it is small and fills up quickly and spontaneously. Definitely worth a shot, though!
