What a great stop. Between my Crab Cake Cobb and her Lobster Grilled Cheese, we barely paused long enough to speak. Both meals were a WOW.

We were seated soon after we arrived. Nice view. That's where the fun ended. Got waited on in a fair amount of time. Then waited over 45 mins for our dinners. I ordered the nachos and got a plate of cut up corn tortilla shells mixed with tortilla chips that had gobs of mozzarella (not Monterey Jack) cheese on top.... More

We (mainly me) had to have a Red's lobster roll, but my hubby is big on dessert so we walked across the street to Sarah's. Absolutely the best piecrust and chock full of fresh wild Maine blueberries baked that morning! He was in pie heaven. Next time had the soup, 3 kinds take your choice, and a BLT on rye... More

Great food, great value, great location. Choice of seafood or non-seafood. Food is all prepared on-site, including their wonderful soups/chowders, breads to die for, and desserts/pastries. We never miss a chance to dine at Sarah's Café.

Local Maine restaurant with a water view. Somewhat rustic with wooden bench type seating. Friendly attentive staff compliments very good food at reasonable prices. Not fancy, very casual. Also has a bar room. Would certainly return there.

We had a delightful lunch here! It has a noisy but charming atmosphere...and the food is really good! My husband had the parmesan crusted haddock sandwich and I had the baked haddock melt...both were excellent and the portions were generous. It took awhile to get served, so don't count on a quick lunch here!

Pros: Husband loved his ham and cheese sandwich (huge and nicely toasted with great tasting cheese). I liked my lobster roll, which wasn't the best I've had but was good. Cons: Flies were annoying us the entire meal and the table felt sticky.

A place in business for nearly 40 years and proves it with consistency in quality and preparation. I live locally but, you should make a point of stopping @ Sarah's on your travels downeast in Maine. An assortment of beers too, try one.!

A summer Monday afternoon driving along route 1, the traffic along route one will come to a crawl for several miles on either side of Wiscasset. There are three eateries at the same intersection. Reds, Spragues and Sarahs. This time we stopped at Sarah's (parking several block down a side street.) This is a family restaurant, unlike the other two.... More
