We arrived on a sunday morning, 9:10, the place was packed and right away, the smiling waitress told us there would be a 20 minutes wait. No problem with that... but the 20 minutes turned into a 40, than 45 minutes wait... the place was emptying, new clients arrived and were served. At one point I thought our order had... More

Went here once in July 2015 and again this year in July 2016. It is actually run by a southerner but it is reasonably priced with huge portions for omelettes and pancakes. Minus one star as they need more help to refresh coffee and the cook missed my wife's order so there was some delay. Overall good diner though.

That's all we've ever had at Miss Wiscasset, Just what you might expect and quite good. Eggs, bacon, ham, toast et al. I had sour dough French toast whech was very good. Not fine dining. As someone said 'diner food'.

Had breakfast while in the area for a wedding. From the outside the diner looks more run-down, but inside was more like a very clean cafe with nice wood floors, wooden tables and chairs, and cozy decor. This is a very organized operation, extremely clean. Watching the staff work, you can see the mechanics of the operation are well thought... More

This is a terrific diner with all the diner basics and some interesting specials such as the delicious fish hash I had. Also Southern specialties such as great biscuits and chicken-friend steak.

This diner has all your favorites for breakfast plus interesting additions from down south. The host/waiter is from Biloxi, MS and is super friendly, personable and good at both jobs. I am very picky about how my eggs are cooked - that was welcomed and they came out perfectly. Will go here every time we are in the area.

My wife and I have stopped at Miss Wiscasset for lunch or breakfast just about every time we make a trip to Portland Maine. We were there on March 14, 2016 around noon. We both had breakfast (available all day). The food was excellent. My wife loved the grits and I really appreciated the sausage. Eggs, potatoes, toast all perfectly... More

I'm a biscuits and gravy guy who does a fair amount of traveling. This place is a gem. Clean, bright homey and the best Biscuits and Gravy I've eaten outside of my own in a very long time. Eggs done perfect, no runny whites, beautiful runny yokes, with crispy golden brown hash-browns. I was in heaven. I told the waitress how... More

It's diner magic made by a Southerner who knows breakfast. I got the Meat egg Skillet. *i think that was it's name. Flipping yum, Service was good, price better than fair, plenty of parking even for a big rig or camper.
