While recently holidaying in Winter Harbor, Maine, we were recommended the "Fisherman's Gallery" restaurtant. It was the last night before the winter closure. It is recognised for its lobster which was just amazing. It is a 'no frills' place but the food was special. We picked our own lobster from the tank and then just feasted. Very cheap too!

I had the lobster and my partner had the scallops in pesto. Both of them were delicious. I wish this place were closer and I could go again more easily. The staff was very friendly and helpful in their recommendations.

We ate there for the first time this week. The seafood was excellent. We had the fried seafood variety platter, and it was done very well--it was all fresh, and the batter was done very delicately. The batter accented the food subtley instead of overwhelming it! Some of the best fried seafood we've ever eaten. Oh, and when they say... More

We dined here a couple of times during our three night stay in the area. Overall, decent choices of seafood. The steamed mussels were pretty good. We also had the fried shrimp, calamari and lobster rolls - decent but we had better elsewhere. In general the food options are somewhat limited in the immediate area and this restaurant is one... Well-designed decor! This is a lovely, casual place with a real local flavor. Excellent lobster rolls! Personable and gracious hosts! I love the window bar with the binoculars provided to view the harbor! The rest rooms are very clean, too! We'll definitely be back!

Stopped in looking for a downeast fish fry. Decided on the scallop diner. Good choice! Food was prepared and served nicely. You place your order at the counter and take a seat. Food is brought to you. The staff is friendly and hospitable. They have a live lobster tank where you pick out the one you want, they weigh it,... More

The food is amazing, the service is fabulous, and the prices are incredible!! The offer a lobster dinner with all the home fixings, plus have steamers, and stuffed quahogs that are cooked to perfection. Its a great place to take the family for a great Downeast Maine dinner.

We liked this place very much and would go back. Fresh seafood. We had clam rolls and homemade potato salad (excellent) and blueberry pie. Wine is available in plastic cups. Friendly staff is welcoming.

When driving through the area at noon time, make sure you leave some room for their Lobster roll. Think it is a family run business, very friendly people, simple and correct service, delicious rolls. fair price.

This is a great location to stop for a nice casual dinner. Doesn't stay open late, but the area shuts down at night. Owner is very friendly. Food is great. Blueberry pie is awesome. Great selection of beer. I worried that giving them a nice review would make it too popular. No waiting now.
