Recently got their version of cream cheese and olive sandwich. Whole olives were just thrown on over minimal cream cheese. Couldn't pick up the sandwich without olives falling out. $7 for only 1/2 sandwich. Absolutely no staff or customers masked. Big Gs can do better...than that!More

Big big big, or at least the seeming of it. Very nice sandwich bread, but we're not talking stacked meat like a fresser. Decent service and value, a humble, fun, comfortable experience. Nice cookies too, also big

We heard about this place years ago and thought we'd finally stop in on our way north. As we approached the counter the young lady essentially SCREAMED at us in a robotic tone, "Here or to go? What kind of bread? Condiments?" etc. Now I...realize that a mask muffles your voice a little but her voice (and her co-worker's) was ALL we could hear the entire time we were there. Which was a LONG time as it took 45 minutes (and $26!) to get 1 1/2 sandwiches and a whoopie pie. Yes, the sandwiches are huge but I found the bread to be very dry. And the whoopie pie was so dry it may have been baked several days before. We pass through this area a lot but will NOT be stopping here again.More

Went for lunch with some out of state family, had only been here a couple of times. As Jasmin took our order, she was kind of rude and rushing us. She asked for my number for the contact tracing and once I gave her the area code...( out of state) she said I'm ready for your order and didn't take my number. I went back up to order something else and she said," oh,you ordered so I have your number already" even though she didn't. Because she was in such a rush she missed something for our order. I don't care for their food or ordering process so won't be going back.More

Hubby and I were told about this place and decided to try it out. Little did we know that there is nothing little at Big G's! They have a menu board full of "celebrity named" sandwiches like the Egg McMahon, Cher, Sonny Bono, Guido Sarducci.....you...get the idea. My advice is to stick to the Plain Sandwich menu and build your own. I built my own chicken salad. I ordered a large.....it weighed about 10 pounds! I could only eat a quarter of it. It was good but the chicken salad could use a little spice. It was pretty bland. They have huge cookies and wagon wheel sized whoopie pies as well. I will return however, I will be ordering a small next time lol!More

The sandwiches are huge. Wicked friendly staff-We brought in a softball team of 24 after a win and dined like Henry VIII. The roast beef sandwiches are amazing and you easily can make two meals out out anything you order.

Never been before but my Brother in Law said we should tried, so off we go. I ordered a haddock basket, my Wife got a Guy Fieri, my Sister got some sort of chicken salad and Brother in Law had some sort of ham and...cheese. My haddock basket came out and the haddock fillets looked petrified, they were very hard, I was hoping for better, the serving size was large no doubt but would have liked fresh fish. My Wife's sandwich was tasty but the fries on the sandwich made thing kind of soggy, the flavor was ok according to her. The chicken salad thing my Sister had according to her tasted like left over chicken had been used. My Brother in Laws ham and cheese was fine according to him. I would be willing to try this place again when we got through that area again perhaps for breakfast. The server we had, who was a young girl made us feel like we were putting her out placing an order.More

You won't leave Big G's hungry. The plates are massive. The food is good - it's not cuisine, it's straight up American fare. Big sandwiches, delicious bread, huge salads, and massive whoopie pies. They are more like cakes with filling. The desserts are delicious. We...hit up Big G's for lunch when we go visit Colby.More

I mean what the heck. Not necessary. And a deal breaker for people who eat pork. Sandwiches, not a problem— you can say “leave off the bacon. Soup? Not so much. Very disappointing. The sandwiches are great, sure. But this is just stupid.

The food here was amazing! The portions are huge and there is quite a bit to choose from. I had the Hot Totty sandwich, which was delicious. The cookies and whoopie pies are as big as your head! So glad we stopped.

My mom and I love breakfast. There are limited options in Waterville-Winslow. My mom prefers to be waited on but I finally convinced her to give the place a try. It's now one of her favorites. We both enjoyed the crepes. One piece of fench...toast is plate size. Plus, they make whoopie pies the size of your head! It's a decent place with really good food.More
