We have been guests at the tavern since it first opened a few years ago. It is always right on with atmosphere, very friendly and accommodating staff with the best quality and portion size at a great price. Neat bar and the "super" chef will personally check with you each time. We refer our Inn guests to this neat place.

Varied menu - something for everyone from a basic burger or spaghetti and meatballs to featured specials with a more gourmet appeal. Everything is well prepared with the best ingredients. Love the choice of sides! Generous serving of wine by the glass. Favorite dessert, crispy profiteroles w homemade ice cream is rad to resist. Often there is a wait and... More

Overall, a true find away from downtown. Nice cocktail list, small but diverse menu, and a decent wine list. One small let down was no dessert wines on the menu just a couple of ports. The service was good, and the food above average all around. We all had a very enjoyable meal.

We had excellent service and great food. The hostess found a dog park for us. Even the diners were very friendly. Happy place. On the expensive side.

If you don't go here and have the lobster risotto, you will have missed something delicious. Had short ribs. A little pricey but cooked to perfection. Coconut crusted haddock fingers. Fantastic. The sides are incredible. You won't be disappointed .

We love this place, located at the site of the old Cummings Market just west of the Maine Pike Exit #25. The food is all local, the kitchen crew top notch (most formerly from the fancy Arundel Inn) and prices are reasonable. The bar area aside the dining room is a locals fav and we offer just eat out favorite... More

For the "off season" traveler who looks for a wonderful dinner in a pleasant surroundings when the usual places have left the planet for the winter, try a sit down at the Village Tavern in the Kennebunks. Get there early (before six), no reservations. Great menu, well presented. The staff has been well trained, the food is better than the... More

The Village Tavern has very interesting choices, from comfort food to unique and new food ideas. ALWAYS delicious though. Their chocolate dessert for two is incredible - all different rich chocolate desserts served with ice cold milk and paper striped straws. Wonderful!

Good food price reasonable. Tough to get into as it is very popular. Try the short ribs and yes they have PBR!

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. Chef owned and every dish is wonderful. We go there often and never disappointed. Love the mussels in Pernod sauce appetizer. Wait staff and hostess are very friend. Don't forget the marvelous blueberry martini.
