Breakfast

Great breakfast, but it took over 40 Min to get it. Wasn't even busy. Usually we just go in to get a coffee and pastry. But I always go back!!! The best food!!

This is a lot like walking into a do-nut shop of the 70's ...with the donuts being every bit as good. The parking lot was full of both locals and tourist. A good sign if there are a lot of locals! Walking in to this very clean, but no frills do-nut shop was like a trip into my past. The... More

Breakfast can get very busy here on weekends even in the off season. They have their own bakery and serve a full breakfast menu and sandwiches for lunch. Very friendly staff and parking is readily available.

Our favorite is the chocolate cream, although it actually is a regular cream with chocolate frosting. The blueberry fritters run a close second. Go early for the best selection and be prepared, they are on the expensive side for doughnuts, but well worth it.

This place is known for its donuts, and the glazed is one of the best. ALMOST as good as Krispy Kreme's glazed donut. There aren't many good donut places around, so Congdon's stands out. (You can't count Dunkin Donuts . their donuts are usually stale). Prices are a little steep, but the donuts are worth it.

These doughnuts are the best I've ever eaten. Every time we are in Maine, we stop here to enjoy them.

My family and I absolutely LOVE Congdon's!!! If you want plentiful breakfast that is not very expensive and will literally keep you full until dinner time, come to Congdon's! The donuts will literally blow you away because they are sooooo amazing, and the breakfast is great too! We never go to Maine without multiple stops to Congdon's, so you don't... More

Hard to pass up the doughnuts and pastries but the breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Friendly service and always busy. Be prepared for a wait.
