Great restaurant with creative food fresh from local sources. The bartender made a perfect espresso martini, just the way I like them. Reservations are a must.

Amazing mushroom appetizer, delicious haddock dish with risotto and the tenderloin was cooked perfectly. Dessert special was a peach rhubarb pie al a mode. Cozy dinning room, quiet, easy to talk, attentive service. We spend a few days in Kennebunkport each summer and meet our friends from Wells here for a very special evening. Make a reservation ahead to assure... More

Make reservations well in advance for this restaurant, in the summer it can be hard to get in. This is an intimate old house, so it's got a really comfortable vibe. The bar is tiny and first-come, first-served, but that's our favorite place in the restaurant for dining. The onion crusted haddock is a signature dish and shouldn't be missed.... More

We have been going to Ogunquit for several years and have always heard good things about Joshua's from or Inn Keepers at 2 Village Square and Gazebo Inn. Booked several weeks ago for a Saturday evening and were not disappointed. Our hostess greeted us as soon as we walked in and sat us down promptly. Waitress was right there as... More

We shared the woodfired mushrooms for appetizer and good thing we started with only one choice as it was plenty to start especially as it acompanied by homemade breads. My husband ordered the duck and I ordered the... More

I've been dining at Joshua's since it opened 10 years ago and never have had a bad meal. Food choices, service, ambience all extraordinary. Re: review about gluten free choices. If you are truly gluten sensitive you should have a general idea what to avoid without asking!!! Fresh seafood and vegetables are Joshua's mainstay and would not be a problem.... More

My wife and I were vacationing in Ogonquit last week. We were staying at a B&b, therefore ate out every night. Joshua's was recommended by another couple we met at the B&b. Wow were we happy we took their advice. The service was spectacular but the food was even better. The menu offered everything from seafood to Filet. Both of... More

This came highly recommended by a friend who had visited before and our innkeepers, and rightly so. The food was terrific. We had some of the specials, mussels in pesto crean, a wonderful arugula salad. I had the duck and my friend had the halibut special. Happy with everything we ordered. The service however could have been better. When we... More
