Perfect little stop for the family before a day in Freeport. Great coffee, and the bagel was good as well. I wish I would have indulged in the pastries in the case as they looked delightful! Perfect for a quick coffee and bagel stop!

We love the food (local eggs are a huge bonus) and we love the espresso drinks. We feared we would never find espresso in town, and you not only have it, but make the drinks exceptionally well! So grateful to have a high quality and comfortable cafe in Wells!

Brewed Awakenings is a privately owned, seasonally-opened coffeehouse that also has absolutely delectable baked goods and light meals. If you like a place like Starbucks, then you'll like Brewed Awakenings even better! A few times a year we travel to Maine for a long weekend. We went a couple of weeks ago and were, at first, disappointed that Brewed Awakenings... More

Absolutely love this place- great for a quick coffee and breakfast. You can't miss the bagels and fresh baked goods. The people that work there are very friendly and it has a homey feel. I can't say enough good things about it!!

Sept 8, 2015. Ate breakfast here. They have a good variety of bagel sandwiches with many topping to choose from. For us the bill of 2 bagel sandwiches, one medium and one small coffee ran around $15. It's small, cosy, good service. Nice kind of breakfast "treat" to have-different !

Stopped on the way home after a quiet weekend. Excellent espresso but no ceramic cups. Bagel sandwiches looked good but didn't try any.

My girlfriend and I had seen this place from the road many times and always wanted to stop there. The first time we stopped there we showed up during their usual business hours around 9am and it was closed. It didn't bother us too much we thought we'd just come back another day. When we finally went we were greeted... More

Love this little breakfast spot! They have the most amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches. Tasty combos on your choice of bagel. The blueberry bagel with Maine blueberry cream cheese doesn't disappoint either! Coffee is decent, too, and don't miss the pastries! As I said, I only wish they were open year round!

My husband and I stopped in at this quaint little coffee shop on route 1 in Wells, right off the highway. The line was continuously out the door. They had seating inside and outside and as we looked out the window, we could get a glimpse of the ocean across the street. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, which were DELICIOUS... More
