I write this with mix reviews. I first ate at Moody's about 18 years ago and was like THE BEST PIE EVER. I told everyone, and when we received visitors I took them to Moody's. I have eaten here about 10 times over the 18 years, and it was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. However I ate there yesterday... More

The perfect diner... Pleasant waitstaff, good sandwiches and platters, and HUGE meringue pie. The Reuben is perfect with lots of sauerkraut and my daughter loved the kids meals.. Chicken and grilled cheese. You might have to wait during the busy times but it is well worth it.

This place is always a mob scene and there is good reason for it. The food is great, hot, the staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. The best coconut cream pie I have ever had, ever. I will never go by the place without getting this ambrosia of taste exploding flavor.

Everyone should visit here and say they've been. Nothing special about the food. It's a diner, it was good. Whoopie Pie was yummy. Stop by the gift shop, lots of fun stuff.

Its ok. My family loves this place and it is a classic building and location right on Rt 1. We go there at least once every time we are in the hood. Lots of locals too you you'll definitely get that Down East Vibe. Food is classic diner...gets the job done but no creativity or memorably simple interpretations of classic... More

I've been a regular of Moody's for many years. The restaurant is populated with mostly locals in the winter and locals and a whole lot of folks "from away" in the summer. The food isn't superb - you don't go there for that, but it is mostly good. The daily specials, burgers, dinners and so forth are all good. Pie... More

If you are anywhere in the area, you should pay a visit to Moody's - you will not be disappointed. Their breakfast special with sausage gravy and the cheddarwurst sausage is a must have - my wife ordered it and I wish I had as well. Moody's is a snapshot of America that you won't forget - good food, good... More

The food was okay, the service was great, but I'll go home forget all about it and won't tell anyone to go there.

We met a local couple in Belfast that we had a nice chat with. Finding out we enjoyed the same things in Maine, they recommended Moody's Diner. They threw in a few quaint stories. The food was good. The baking powder biscuits are excellent and the 4 berry pie.

We ate here 4 times during our stay - one take-out order, one breakfast and two dinners. We enjoyed all of our meals. The amounts were large and the selections varied. We had been told to be sure and sample the homemade desserts and they lived up to the billing.
