What a Find! We were told about this great place by friends who used to live in the area - I dont think we would have discovered it! We had Reubens - mine turkey, his corned beef. Delicious, served warm with the wonderful sauerkraut, potato salad and crunchy pretzel. Couple of different mustards on the table only added to it.... More

Great dishes if you like Germanic influence and flavors mixed with the American. Pickles and sandwiches made me VERY HAPPY. The grocery/deli next door makes it even more attractive to the customer. Wonderful selection of items. Expensive for the average income, but well worth occasional visits and meals. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Smoked pork chops Kassler Ripchen), several kinds of wursts (no Nurnburger bratwurst though), cheeses, pickles and, obviously, sauerkraut. All of it was good. We had the smoked pork chop (excellent) and Viener Schnitzle (just OK). All the sides were up to par. Bought some spaetzle in a package since we have little luck on our own making it. Lots of... Morse's Sauerkraut makes it's own mild-flavored sauerkraut, which is, apparently, filled with probiotics. They are known for their Reubens, which are terrific. They also have a food shop which is filled with European delicacies. It's a great place to have lunch and pick up some foods you've never seen before.

The restaurant had great German style food and the best reuben sandwich I ever had! The attached shop had an amazing selection of specialty food items.

Stopped on way to Union. Not far off RT 17. Had to wait about 15 minutes for booth but worth the wait. The corned beef on my sandwich was tender, shaved thin, and not over spiced. If I want a Rueben sandwich I'm coming back here. Lots of neat food items for sale in shop. Only disappointment was not being... More

Good food and friendly staff. Plus you can buy some interesting foods to take home with you. We had the "Wurst" special and of course kraut plus bought some cheese to take home.

While the restaurant is just average, the selection of specialty foods is amazing. If you want something from Germany or Poland or any of the Eastern European areas, this is the place to go I'm Maine. It's out of the way (7 miles off of US 1) but it is well worth the drive. The home-made kraut and pickles are... More

This was our second visit to Morse' deli. This deli has a large variety of foods- meats, cheeses, snacks, desserts, etc... We enjoy browsing and purchasing snacks to eat during our visit in Maine. Our favorite part of the visit is the restaurant. It is small and quite eclectic. There are 7-8 booths in the restaurant, so go early to... More
