Stopped here for lunch on our way to Acadia from Portland. It is exactly what you would expect from a local road side restaurant. The inside of the place is outdated, but the food was very good. The people were very friendly.

Fried clams and fried shrimp we’re totally bland.. Batter tasted like it had no seasoning whatsoever. Seafood did seem fresh and service was friendly. The baked potato we ordered with everything was a small steamed potato in foil with a tub of sour cream to...More
Went for lunch. I ordered a medium rare cheeseburger which was cooked perfectly. It came on a toasted brioche bun. Husband ordered steak and cheese sub - which his immediate comment was "this is not those store bought steam-ums". We also went for breakfast one...More
Four of us ate at Just Barbs and each had a great meal. Lobster rolls, shrimp and the philly cheese steak were all good and came with fries and cole slaw. Service was fast and friendly. We had yummy milkshakes to go! Not a fancy...More
The service is friendly, but the food doesn't stand out. It's your basic breakfast place, for which I wouldn't go out of my way. And there are better places in Belfast and other towns for the same dishes and prices.

Stopped for breakfast on our way to the Bangor airport. Omelette and pancakes were ok. Was hoping for a seafood breakfast option.

Went here for dinner on the good reviews. It was a big disappointment. The breading on the fried seafood items was so bland- just tasted like plain egg and flour, no seasoning. We got broiled scallops, a seafood platter, and a hamburger. The seafood itself...More
Ate breakfast here, and had wonderful blueberry pancakes. Chock full of blueberries, and very large. A small little place right on route 1, this is a must. I believe it is open seasonally, but if you're in the area, check it out.
