If you want a pizza slapped together go to the local gas stations because this is not for you. BUT if you just want some innovative food done consistently very well over many "seasons" head of the "Notch". Their breads are freekin' amazing and fresh every day. Might want to call ahead and pick up your order as a word... More

Reviews on this one made us feel like we were taking a chance, but the pizza was quite good, with a better variety of topping choices tha most pizza joints: artichoke heart, prosciutto , and sun-dried tomatoes being examples. Thin crust, served fast. Surroundings for eat-in were uninspiring. Service not bad, but not very friendly either.

We were staying in Southwest Harbor and had had a big lunch so we just wanted to get a pizza to go. It was nearly closing time but they were very accommodating. By mistake they made us the larger size but only charged us for the smaller one we had ordered.

We always call in a white pizza with various toppings to go. it's too noisy and hot to eat in there, although happy families are always munching away. Pizza crust is chewy and delish and the toppings fresh.

Decided later evening to get something to eat, little notch pizza was still open. The staff was friendly and the pizza was amazing!!! Perfect thickness of crust along with the right amount of toppings and cooked just long enough to create a nice crisp. The staff was very helpful when it came to answering questions about breakfast!!!

The pizza from Little notch is consistently very good, the best pizza I've had on MDI. I also highly recommend the bread, but cookies and other baked goods can be meh. The counter workers can sometimes be a little rude.

Only reason I gave them 4 stars versus 5 was it was way too hot to eat in the cafe. Need fans or AC! For take out pizza was great, amazing bread selection and desserts ---delicious!

This was one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. The crust actually managed to be crispy and chewy, thin and awesome. Super fresh mushrooms and flavorful pepperoni. Also the Ceasar salad had a really good homemade dressing. Yesterday we got the sourdough bread which was yummy, as well

Yummy double chocolate chip cookies here! We popped in while exploring the area. The (very nice) gal working there had just taken a pizza from the oven that looked and smelled delish as well. Plenty of seating in this bright little cafe/bakery.
