This popular (judging from the hordes) eatery is located at the far end of Southwest Harbor, in a wooden building overhanging the working port. Not surprisingly the place specialises in lobsters (fresh and rolls) and seafood in general, though there are a few token vegetarian...More

We arrived at Beal's on the "late side" (about 8:30) with the hope that the line would be short. Between the time spent in line and then waiting for our food, it was an hour. The food was perfectly fine but not for the wait....More

Food here was great; basic lobster, corn on the cobb dinner. Cornbread was particularly good, as were the side salad I had. Fresh and good quality. Only giving 4 stars because service wasn't as friendly as I expected. I would definitely recommend.

This restaurant can handle a large amount of people. We were there just before closing for the season. The seafood is very fresh and good. There are tables available for many customers.

Was a rainy dreary day on our stop in Southwest Harbor, and most places were closed. Stopped in at Beal's because of the reviews. Turned out, it was their last day of the season, so we lucked out. The Lobsta Roll was spot on, as...More
