OMG. the hash! the Corned beef hash!! out of this world. This has just become my go-to spot driving south! Breakfast all day for those of us who like breakfast-for-lunch. Cheery vibe from the staff. GREAT bread for toast!! ok coffee. What more do you...want!! The hash was Real corned beef in nice chunks, perfectly cooked potatoes & onions all smushed together. REALLY good!!More

Been here a few times for muffins/scones and coffee to go. First time dining in. Many local organic ingredients. Biscuits and gravy to die for. Deliscios smoky thick bacon. Lightly sweetened biscuit. Red potato hash that resembles a traditional potato pancake with crispy crust. Always...great coffee.More

Been having Sunday breakfast here 3-4 times/month all summer and early fall. Food has been very good; service had been very good. Last Sunday was the exception. Ordered dry Andama toast w/ my bacon & eggs (as usual). Rec'd my breakfast but Anadama bread was...not toasted. Asked for another order of "toast" that was actually toasted. Waited as long as I could but everything was getting cold so I ate my breakfast. Then my waitress brought another order of "toast" - still not toasted, not a trace of brown on it. I mean NOT A TRACE OF BEING TOASTED!!More

Small café on the main drag. Coffee was so-so. Food was average & reasonably priced; no complaints. We really stopped b/c of the high reviews of their baked goods... apparently they're limited & sell out early. Bummer. Bathroom needed attention. Staff was wonderful & friendly.

Ate lunch here while on vacation with another couple. I had chicken salad sandwich and my husband had a hamburger. Both were fantastic. The service and prices were great. Very filling and very close to the Marine Museum which was a hidden gem.

This cafe is terrific! We had breakfast one morning of eggs, bacon and sausage for me and a ‘build you own’ omelette for my husband. It was so good, we decided to return on our way to Mount Desert Island. We applaud the efforts of...the owner to use locally sourced products, it shows. Service was very attentive, thanks guys! We preferred this place while staying in Belfast since it wasn’t that far to go for a great meal.More

This place is deceiving from the outside. It is so hip and charming and yummy and reasonable prices. My husband an I basically tried a little of everything: bacon, sausage, potatoes, -- and OMG the French Toast and blueberry pancake. Perfect amount of food and...we got to skip lunch that day. Everything made to order, so a little bit of a wait. But highly, highly recommend.More

If you are driving Rte 1 from Camden to Bar Harbor, and you need to grab breakfast or lunch, stop at the Coastal Café. They serve breakfast all day, and serve lunch till 3pm (closing time). We went twice on our recent Belfast ME vacation....I had a great chicken salad sandwich the first time, and a lovely breakfast the second visit. The smashed red potatoes were exceptionally good. They also have a small bar, so you can enjoy an AM or early afternoon cocktail. Menu is not huge, but they have plenty of options (including ones for vegetarians). Staff was friendly. Overall, a great place that I'll put into my dining out rotation during our annual Maine vacation.More
