Great place on the middle of an enormous national park. I was happily surprised to see that the staff is like a well oiled machine and try to get people in and out as fast as possible. They told us 30 min, we strolled in...More

Jordan Pond House restaurant is famous for its fresh, hot popovers served with butter and strawberry jam. Popovers are hollow muffins made of egg batter, rather like Yorkshire pudding (but much lighter). They look huge, but they are mostly golden-brown crust and a soft layer...More

The restaurant is located inside Acadia National Park. We had dinner reservations so we only had an appetizer and drink. Be prepared to wait for a table. The location and grounds are beautiful and worth the visit. The only down side is if you leave...More

We had a nice lunch there; we were lucky to park the car early (before going for a hike around the pond), otherwise there is no chance to park or eat... Food was good and prices reasonable.

Wow! The popovers were wonderful with the butter and strawberry jam. A great way to end a day in Acadia National Park.

The only drawback is that this place is simply too popular. The cruise ship passengers cause it to be overcrowded..

We are locals and wanted to treat our friends to a beautiful view and great food- mediocre/vegetables cold, shepherds pie terrible - popovers over cooked - also no heat in restaurant, freezing cold, sit near fireplace! Will never go back

Surprisingly good given it’s the only restaurant in all of Acadia Park. That being said, it’s extremely busy so be prepared to wait. You give your name & you get a beeping device when your table is ready. The menu is pretty extensive with plenty...More

We didn't make reservations. I had read a previous review where someone had said they were told by the host that they only take reservations for 1/3 of the tables and they save the rest for walk in's.

A popover is a light, hollow roll made from an egg batter similar to that of Yorkshire pudding. It is best to ask to talk to the Chef when you have an allergy. That is what I do as I am allergic to eggs, onions and... More

Located in the heart of Acadia National Park, the Jordan Pond House has been offering lunch and dinner of over 100 years. We are best known for our always fresh from the oven popovers. In addition, we serve soup, sandwiches, salads, lobster rolls, seafood and other entrees. We are currently closed for the 2017 season. We will be reopening in May of 2018.
