We went here because we were told it is a MUST if you visit Acadia. The popovers were warm and yummy ! The interior was not as warm and cozy that I had figured it would be in the park but since it is such a tourist stop I can see why. Definitely worth it !

Definitely overpriced since it's the only restaurant in the park by Jordan Pond. Lobster roll was good, blueberry lemonade was good, popover was really good, and seafood stew was so so.

It's a very pricey restaurant with beautiful views inside and out. I was there on 'soft' (training) day and ate delicious popovers also. Super nice people.

The restaurant looks a bit like a huge ski chalet and overlooks Jordan Pond, one of the great natural wonders of Acadia National Park. Expect lots of people, especially during the summer months. But the friendly service and good food will reward your patience. And after lunch, naturally, you can walk around the pond and burn off a few calories.... More

I have always loved Jordan Pond popovers and chowders, but found flavor and service lacking on this trip.

We had a wonderful time again. We would highly recommend the gift shop at Jordan Pond for its exceptional customer service. Velma and Jamie were most helpful and creative in their assistance to us. It is nice to see people willing and able to "think outside the box" and make things happen for customers.

The Jordan Pond House restaurant is across from Jordan Pond house, and overlooks the pond and has a stunning view of the Bubbles. We went in May, before the restaurant opened for the season, but we brought a picnic to have on the deck, and we had another on the lawn the next day. There is a public restroom behind... More

I cannot describe why, but the landscape from the house was just amazing. The lake is the clearest, mountain shape is beautiful, the nature power is all around. We had a sunny day and this might give even more to the beauty. A stop is highly recommended here. Explanation on geological history available in the house. We were there out... More

We make the trip up to Bar Harbor every year and always make sure we stop at Jordan pond for pop overs. Never really got the chance to go for different meals; but has become a family tradition to sit out back on there picnic tables and have poppovers and tea!!

The Jordan Pond House has been in operation since the 1890's, but you would think it had opened just yesterday. The restaurant and the grounds have been meticulously maintained, and there is no way to really describe the natural beauty of this location without gushing. Acadia National Park itself is amazing, but this spot is absolutely breathtaking. And the food... More
