Whilst vacationing in Scarborough ME my family and I went to Chaba Thai for dinner. It was fantastic!! We eat Thai everywhere we travel and this one was really good -- pad Thai was awesome, peanut satay sauce was yummy and the curries we ordered were great (pineapple/yellow and red with beef). We will definitely return on our next visit... More

Nadia was so welcoming and friendly. She was so knowledgeable on the menu and made sure we got just what we wanted. Had to have my THAI ICE TEA, so wonderful. We ordered Dumplings, BACON PAD THAI (so wonderful) and Thai Style Panang Curry.....We always share what we order but I so much enjoyed my husband's Pad Thai, kind of... More

I have been here a few times and have always had a good meal. The Thai iced tea is always a nice treat, and I always get the pineapple fried rice. We also enjoyed pork potstickers. While the setting and decor isn't the best, the staff had always been quite awesome. Everyone seems done really friendly....almost like y oh are... More

Some good, some not so good. Service good, decor...tired looking. The wonton soup was very good, but my main dish was a bit bland. I would try this place again, to sample the sushi bar.

Atmosphere was marginal and I really thought the food could have been more creative and better presented. Few people eating in, and the take out seemed to be most of the business the day we were in. Wonderful Crab Ragoons but the Curries were not up to par with too much sweet from coconut. Would still go back.

This restaurant was recommended by friends. Although we were seated promptly and order was taken, it took about 1/2 hour to get our appetizer and an additional 1 hour to get our food. The small dining room was full and there was only one server and one front end person. (Later I found out there were 3 cooks in the... More

Two of us dined here at the recommendation of a friend. If a dining experience were only about the food, then it would pass with flying colors. Sadly for "Chaba", a dining experience includes much more... The Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups were very good, and the Pad Thai was some of the best we had ever had! When... More

Several years ago I tried take-out at Chaba Thai-- and waited over an hour in a nearly empty restaurant to get my order. With some misgivings, my wife and I accompanied a neighbor couple a couple days ago. I thoroughly enjoyed my wonton soup with shrimp, some spring rolls, and a shrimp and rice noodle dish. The other three got... More

Stopped here while on business. I had the crispy fried tofu which was a bit too greasy. For main course i had Salmon with vegetables and cashews. The fish was too firm, perhaps overdone. But the taste if the meal was fine.

My wife had the drunken noodle, the flavor was amazing!!. Cooked to perfection and just delicious. We also had a few appetizers such as the Tom kah soup. Very good as well. I had a curry soup also with peanut and chicken and potato. It was delicious. The atmosphere is good, the staff are very friendly and the food is... More
