Best clam and seafood chowder. Great price. A quart of seafood chowder to go was about $15.00. If you want to taste Maine seafood, Chowderhead is a good place to go. You may order to go or sit in to eat. It is not a fancy restaurant but very good seafood.

The seafood chowder is crazy good and the lobter roll was tasty, but not as good. I don't like sandwiches served on a croissant, but this one was toasted so it wasn't limp like most croissants. Super fresh food, bare bones surroundings and reasonable pricing.

Ordered the fried scallop plate and was amazed how tasty the scallops were. Cooked to perfection and moist and tender. 5 stars

I visited this place on a whim, as it is part of a "strip mall", and was very pleasantly surprised by the chowder. They take great care with their product and it shows! They have some tables for eat in, but it seems like take out is the way to go. I'd definitely go back.

I was in town for an overnight and discovered this little restaurant in a strip mall. Fantastic bowl of chowder and a half shrimp salad sandwich on oat bread for $7.95! Delicious! The staff were very friendly. Can't say enough of about great little spot. Prices are reasonable, food is wonderful and there are loads of items on the menu... More

A nice little restaurant in a small shopping area. The seafood chowder is a specialty along with fried dinners, sandwiches and a few other items. It has been there awhile and does a brisk business. We go for the chowder and onion rings as a rule.

Was looking for quick seafood in area and saw good reviews for Chowderheads on trip advisor. My 14-year-old daughter didn't think the food would be good because of the outside appearance. I told her it looks can be deceiving. We ordered fish and chips tiger shrimp and seafood chowder. The food was not only fantastic but reasonably priced. Don't let... More

Located in a small local strip mall, this is a convenient place for lunch or dinner anytime. This is fast food, but done very well and of the best quality and with fair prices.
